Yo i have a question for mari0, how can i add multiple tiles ?, like say i already have a tiles png (which i do) could i add another one and would i have even more then just a little bit?
el mario portal o mario AE,esta bug,las paginas de custom tiles cuando son muy grandes se bugean,osea,cuando lo añades al mappack,algunos bloques son mas pequeños que otros,revisas la imagen y cuentos bloques miden 16×16 pero en el juego se bugean y miden como 15 px o 14 px altura y 16 de ancho. the mario portal or mario AE, this bug, the custom tiles pages get bugged when they are too big, I mean, when you add it to the mappack, some blocks are smaller than others,You check the image and the blocks measure 16×16 but in the game they are bugged and measure like 15 px or 14 px in height and 16 in widthPlease fix it, I can't create levels calmly knowing that custom tiles are bugged🙏
Its 17x17. The tiles are 16x16 but there is 1 pixel between each one. You also need certain pixels inbetween to make them solid, look at the premade tiles as an example
Ok yeah I tried downloading it on my phone and it doesn't install but when I used an older phone it install completely fine please make it available for newer devices or something
ok but dont get mad at me but you know the mari0 game you made right? or am i wrong anyways I JUST CONTAINED A DUMB ERROR IN MARI0 I DELETED A CUSTOM MAP PACK FROM A MAP PACK FOLDER AND NOW I CANT PLAY
13d already released a while ago. Development on a new version is on hold, but it will probably continue when the new version of mari0's game engine (LOVE2D) releases.
I don't have any control over that, the game engine mari0 uses forces the game to use that folder. The developers of the game engine are aware and hopefully working on a solution
Hi, how do you prevent a map from backtracking? Basically how like in Super Mario Bros after you went forward with the character and the screen scrolled, if you passed a power/coin block and it went offscreen behind you, you could not return to grab it. Hope that makes sense. Also, I wanted to make a small building that mario can actually enter when you stand in front of the door and press up. I know how to create the condition of pressing up and the action of entering a different sub-level, but I'm not sure how to make the trigger so that it is only going to the sub-level in that specific spot - the doorway. Is that doable?
