Is it just me or is there zero vibration feedback in the F1 games? In every other sim I’ve played, locking up, wheelspinning or going over curbs will always present some vibration to let you know. Makes it unplayable IMO
I root for you every esport event. Mostly because your first two championships made me love this game and F1 esports!! Keep it up man!! Sending good vibes to you!!
Ty for your video but you didn't mention the crucial option in the setup menu: engine braking has a significant impact on how fast you can recover ERS.
Thanks for that Brendan. As usual, again the clearest and most useful F24 track guide to help hacks like me to hopefully get within a few seconds of the track record.
@@robert-gq5th yeah you can, you might gain like 0.010 from travelling less distance but tbh it’s more of a meme than actually changing lap times massively
I am going to do a video tonight and give it a go again., before the update my time was 41.2 I hope I can get close to that again. I struggle with the set up here nothing feels right for some reason like it does in other tracks. Great video again mate
@@BrendonLeigh it's the front of the car. When I turn it feels like the front want's to literally break. If I keep turning the car, it just goes in that direction I am turning, Lowering the front SUS helps to suppress that feeling but it creates massive understeer 😥😥
Strange how I searched for a Hungary track guide last week for a league race but this video did not come up. It just showed up today without a search. I’ll manually check your channel next time
Go as low as you can with the rear height without it touching the track. If it's touching, increase either the rear suspension or rear height (or both), but your car will become slower (but also more stable). So, basically, how low can you drop the rear without you constantly spinning...That should be the fastest settings for the rear part of the car For the front you can pretty much always run 41 front suspension and 20 front height (and so only play a little bit with the rear depending on the track).
Great tips, thank you. I'm one of those that can't improve, and I realize that I'm not pushing too much afraid of failure. However, I try to drive at a pace where I enjoy my driving even though I'm usually at the tail of the pack.
Great video Brendon, you give a lot of value, I don’t know if you want it, but anyway, here are a few tips for better retention on your videos 1. Cut the “blank spaces” when you stay silent, they are a few seconds, but it has an impact 2. Use more B-Roll when you explain what is happening, I think it could help you to use a bit more 3. Play with zoom ins and zoom outs to give some motion to the video, it seems silly, but helps for retention These are some quick tips, I’d be happy to help if you want more. I write this comment from my personnal account and not my youtube channel😅 Hope you take this comment as something positive because that was the idea! Just want to help for the value you give ti reach more people, cheers!
Hey bud Firstly thank you for taking the time to write this! I appreciate you taking your time 💪 Do you have an instagram account I can message you on to discuss this further?
I can do so much better. I don't push myself like I need to, thanks Brendon, Most of it is intimidation. You are the only one I believe that really cares about sim racers bro, thanks again man, working on it.
Great video Brendon. I think a lot of the info you gave was very helpful and I find that mentality has a big impact on finding time as well. Ties very well into your last sim school video
Mr Brendon, after seeing another great video, I'm thinking you should open paid sim racing school. I will be the 1st one in the line to take class with you, Sir 😊
Any advice for belt drive systems? I’m currently on a T-GT II and to able to feel enough grip to drive pleasantly I have to run the FFB strength to 100% and mess around also with road settings, I don’t find it easy to tweak and get great level of detail and grips sometimes. Might be just because it is not a DD base but I was wondering if you have any suggestion. I drove with a Fanatec DD1 and it’s definitely incredible
Thanks brendan, doing my first league race without the corner line at hungary tonight (3rd race since turning it off) so this has been helpful as i don't have much time to practice before the race tonight 👍 determined to try and commit to turning off the final assist 🤣😬
Hi Brendon, Thanks for the stream last night :) Always a blast. I have a concern. In your previous videos you use a telemetry app to show inputs of throttle and breaks etc. Im wondering which telemetry app are you using :)
Hey Brendon! Coming back after your grip circle video I’ve found so much consistency in my pace that it’s been absurd. My actual single lap pace has also improved very consistently over the course of these past 2 weeks with an overall gain of around 2 tenths! And my “weak tracks” aren’t nearly as weak anymore. Really appreciate the videos that you put out high quality and applicable as always
mentality is very important, when I have a set up that is just no working for me I get overly frustrated and make more mistakes then usual. For example the 21-21 roll bar meta that overall is been used a lot just does not work for me at all so when trying to adapt it gets a bit daunting and annoying where I just have to take a break and come back later.
is it just me or is driving physics totally changed this year? i came back from a long time of and started with f1 22 and got hooked again and bought f1 24. for me it seems like the turning and reaction off the car is way different. i'm using a thrustmaster force feedback setup.😊
I am like 6 seconds off from top guys on all tracks hehe. One thing I can't figure out how some drivers barely use any break on turns while I have to push all the way and still barely miss the turn...
