I Can't tell you what the model number of the tower crane is, as it is old (1960's - 1970's, I think) & there is very little info surviving. However, it is a Swedish tower crane made by LINDEN. Sorry I can't help you more!
I think it is a LINDEN "Old Americana", 1961 (63 years ago), a/p crane operator of TADANO ATF 130G-5 RKM Crane No. 263 at 10:42am on Monday, February 12, 2024 -- This LINDEN has 12 wire ropes guying the jib, which can get tangled up during assembly!
@@roderickfuller3649 : Not Linden, but Heede Americana. Model Heede A 100 or bigger Heede A 130. Manufacturer was Canadian company Heede International Inc from Vancouver, which in end of 1950s acquired sales rights to import and sell original Sweden cranes Linden in Canada and US and in half 1960s received also licence for production own cranes, which were based on cranes Linden D and Linden F serie
HaHa! I was at Value Village today and seen that monster ATC they are going to use to take down that tower crane. I saw the counterweight and am guessing it's a 450-500 tonner. Was going to park and go have a look but I knew you would post a vid. Nice work!
On Friday May 12th we (RKM crane services) will be setting up our LTM 1400 to take this TC down. It would be a cool if you got the boom launching on video Rod
Hey, I am a machinery content creator. Just wanted to visit and send you some motivation to keep going! If you have a few minutes, I'd like your thoughts on my channel as well.
No, I Don't Think it is An LTM 1150-5.1. I Think it is a 1998 LIEBHERR LTM 1120/1, Third Hand. See RU-vid Video: Liebherr 150 ton crane lifting 50 ton concrete pad (or is it: 150 ton Liebherr Crane Lifting 50 ton Concrete Pad).
Sorry -- I Made a Mistake in the Title -- It is Actually a LIEBHERR LTM 1160-5.1 with English-Style Counterweight -- Maximum Load Capacity 160t; RKM Crane Services Number 265.
