We seen Nightwing and Artemis grief. But what really annoys me is that we never got to see how the Flash family grifed between these seasons. I mean Jay has mentioned him once and said he was like a grandson to him. We seen Iris with her children and Barry being The Flash as usual not even mentioning him. But what really annoys me is that we haven't seen Wally's Parents during these two seasons, not even mentioning how they are doing or how there going through this. Which is messed up that we did not see them in in s3 or s4.
3:15 *"Fear not. The Crisis has passed.... though at a terrible cost"* Man, this line still gets me bro, all these years later. Can't remember if I saw the finale when it was actually airing or sometime after, but I must've been either 10 or 11 at the time (given I'm 22 now and the video is 11 years old) and even now, even if I'm not as young, it still feels like a true homie died man. 😮💨
Captain Marvel has the speed of Mercury and is way faster than Wally, so why the heck was he just standing there. Maybe if he had helped Wally would still be alive.
could be a mental thing like he's holding himself back, if he does come back he will likely be the fastest character in the show. I see it more so as they emphasized his character especially ever since Bart's enterance into the show, to be really slow compared to the other flashes. So it could be like a dramatic setup for his return, like he will discover the speed force or someshit
As there's no Speed Force in this universe, the speedsters got their speed via chemical accidents (except Bart, he inherited from his dad, Don). Barry recreated Jay's chemical accident accuratedly. Wally did the same but with a kid-friendly chemistry set, due to the chemicals not being the real deal made him not fast as Barry.
I dont mind killing off heroes but you gotta give them a good send off - they are HEROES afterall. Wallys death here wasnt good enough, he just vanishes into thin air? Because hes a slow runner? I mean they killed him in a humiliating way and he didnt even get to beat anyone, he just dies to electricity coming off a bomb. I mean he died a hero but its still anticlimatic. sigh. I'm still hoping theres a season 5 and im hoping wally can come back. If you want to kill someone off do it right!!
I can think of at least 10 different scenarios where they could’ve powered down the chrysalis without having to use any speedster. This was a lack of judgment on the leagues part and I hope they all felt in part responsible for wally’s death. 😤
It never made sense to me what happened to Wally. He was the most gung-ho hero in season one, suddenly he's retired in season two, and oh yeah he died. I feel the show really screwed up with him.
So, I'm not sure if you know about what Wally's motives were for retirement, but in case you don't, I'll give you a brief overview. There was a YJ video game. In the game, Tula sacrificed herself to save the world. She knew what she was going to do would cost her everything. That event was a catalyst for Wally and Artemis deciding to leave the hero life. That's something I think Greg Weisman and the creative team did wrong; the time jump was too large, and it didn't give enough to the viewers to understand how the characters had changed.
I feel like another big issue was that game in the first place. The game should have been S2 and then S2 should have actually been S3. Because if I remember correctly the game was a playstation 3 exclusive and not every viewer could afford a console, but every viewer most likely had a TV they could watch on. That was a major killer@@joel2628
@@shadewolf0075it was nightwing’s hallucination too when he shows up but with beast boy it was cuz if the goggles and with nightwing it was from a fever dream
@@shadewolf0075 true bur he very well could be stuck in the speedforce; i’m guessing we won’t get another season and if we do it could be another 5-10 years before another company picks it up
Nejis death at least had lots of meaning and also impacted Naruto’s character and not to mention he died to the ten tails you know the most dangerous tailed beast in the series
@@Omen_Rocks123funny, if you put it like that I’d say Wally’s death is just as equal if not more His death was shown to impact more characters for a longer standing period of time, and it was also to something that could have ended the planet The OG poster’s comment still kinda stands if you try to do a one to one
@@JerrySiddhartha that’s the thing though it’s both 50/50 cause with Wally they could’ve either had someone like Shazam do it to keep up with their level of speed and they only did that as an excuse to kill him off and I’m not saying Nejis death is any better but it was just better written as it impacts a lot of characters and even Naruto’s own ideology was tested against him and in the novels Naruto still thinks off Neji and even has help from his past
@@calvinmccaskill-iw3ds I mean that's good writing if they actually kept him gone but speedsters don't die when they "die". he did go to the speedforce, and he would probably find a way to return like Barry did in the comics. If instead he had a corpse and kept him dead, that's some good writing, but since in the show he phased out of existence, it's gonna be hard to explain that one.
