Remove a battery from your thermostat. Wait for 5 seconds then put it back on. Once you see "starting", press and hold both "+" and "-" buttons until you will see bind? displayed. Hope it helps (from another very cold man)
What an awful service, technology and company!! I just tried to replace two thermostats and they "FAILED" what an awful company!! We are going to upgrade our system and I can assure you we will not be using this crap ever again!!
Mine seems to 'forget' the 'stat every year or so. I spend time trying to get past the Bind Failed and then discovered Dave's video. I just need to put in my diary, Remove device then Add device. It's done the trick. Thanks Dave.
Exactly the same thing happened me! Just changing battery! Drayton can't help, just said they don't do it anymore, I might find one online. But all the ones on ebay are faulty!
@@marknraju I contacted customer support. They said they would replace foc. I asked for the new wiser setup , 2 channel , I got it. Swapped out the old genie system for wiser. Happy days. Try yourself.

@@laurawills2902 emailed Drayton support I think. Hounded them if I recall. The product is discontinued so they send me the newest set up. It's not a great system really. Better out there.
I have recurring (every 12 months) events where the Drayton hand set cannot "see" the main receiving control box We have to be guided by the person on the helpline number, and you have to jump through a few hoops to reconnect 2 points of issue here 1 the binding and connectivity of the Drayton handset , mine is MIStat N 110R , is not a user friendly product. You have to be. NASA Scientist to understand the protocol . All hearing engineers dislike this product with a passion 2 not sure why the customer helpline closes early - what time of the day would you require their help ?????? Yep , at night
Yep exactly the same noise on my XK8 , replaced the offside cat and now all well, I must admit it wasn’t until I watched this video I thought the engine was about to blow up!
What your suggesting is not true because if the problem you discribe is the case why would it play normal sound when i reboot my device?. This would mean that my speaker (and its chip) are just fine. It's due to GooglePlay that a virus can spread because GooglePlay just don't give a damn if you download "Crap-Apps" aslong as you just keep downloading stuff they think it's all fine. Remember that. Plus comes the fact that it just might be the battery...because my device has no waterdamage at all and further causes i can't find....this SGN4 is a brilliant device and so-called-ahum bull shyt-hackers love to just disturb people instead by packaging bad and infected apps (Crapps) These guys are acctually really bad hackers so this is the "cheap way" i think it's due to a lack of controle from Google. It proves that RU-vid is bought by them and is still getting filled with so called republished (same videos copied but with another tumbnail claiming that they are new vid's) look for a full movie that's really new and click on it....you see!? CLICKBAIT!!. Now why woulnd they want to clean that mess up?!. Because they don't care. Note that my typing is pritty good but still it claims dubble letters or just puts in random numbers during typing. As last there is the scrolling isue....somtimes it just scrolls automaticly up and down with the slightest touch....wierd? Not at all "they" these companies want this to happen..because if your phone last long then you probably won't go to the store to buy a new one any time soon. My FAVORITE fire burn out artist of all time !! ! I still remember the story one of their crew guys telling how they did it: He would take a long hair from Pam's head, tie a matchstick to it ,and swing it around and throw it at the fuel on the ground. He also told the story of having the car in the puddle of fuel in the burn out, lighting the fuel,and when Jungle stood on the injector pedal, the friggen engine quit running !!!!!!! OMG !!!!! lol :)

Sorry, made this video to send for an insurance claim. Intermittent issues with sound overall. Theres often a crackle and then all audio output is lost. Sometimes happens on initial boot up with the initial boot sound (the samsung logo prior to android launching). Sometimes it freaks out and standards making crackles, high pitched whines. Some sort of hardware failure. Audio files are fine.
Dave Nelson I have the same issue. The earbuds and mic also shuts off/down when the crackling occurs. It also makes random noises. I do not believe it to be OS issue. I was using factory ROM. Wiped and reloaded. Same result. To isolate, I rooted it and put a different ROM. I installed LineageOS. Issue was occuring during new user setup phase.
