Welcome to I-95 Muscle, home of the best Muscle cars in Eastern, NC. Located at 4115 Legion Road in Hope Mills, our store is only 10 minutes from Interstate 95 and the heart of Fayetteville. We have worked hard to bring a reputable retail location to this area as a place to find high quality Muscle, Collector, Hot Rod, Rare, Performance and Classic Cars backed by extraordinary customer service. A large portion of our business is done with individuals who’ve never even driven the vehicle or seen it in person prior to purchasing. Only two things make that possible: unequaled quality and a high level of service.
A new LS Engine? Whomp, Whomp. That engine looks bad on its own, but worst here. Tell me please, someone...and don't say it's because LS engines make power easily. What is wrong with Pre-1999 Chevy small block engines?
The 93-97 LT1 engine has a distributor under the water pump, and electronics don't do well wet. So the second you get a coolant leak, you have to replace the entire distributor. When they switched to the LS platform, each cylinder has it's own ignition coil instead of a traditional distributor. This not only improved reliability, but also efficiency, power, and easy customization to match timing with aftermarket parts. Pre-Vortec small block chevy engines are cool as well, but you have to do away with a lot of electronics to run a carbureted engine with a distributor.
We ordered a Marti Report for this truck and it was originally dark red and white, and was 1 of 1 SCS trucks produced with that color combo. Some point throughout it's life, someone who didn't know that painted over the dark red with blue.
I just bought a 92 for 500$! Im the SECOND owner with 129k miles. The interior is immaculate. Im gonna get painted & want it to look this good! Love the old school trucks
With the limited amount of traction this thing gets, you would just roast the rubber off of an expensive tire the same way. Also, premium brands don't really make tires in this size anymore.
I like them fr500 an that car , poeple pay attention chevy puts a fr500 knock off copy cat rim ob alot of their z71 an Tahoe an suburban lol..I sware no joke!!
I got a 1990 F150 myself it's a single cab long bed red exterior red interior red bench seat automatic its got a tool box very nice truck I've had it for three years now everyday I drive something older than I am and at least 14 years of friends of mine!
I bought one of these a month ago and can't wait to start driving it! Unfortunately the safety certification has changed where I am here in Ontario, Canada and I've had to fight to even find a shop who will even safety it. The 305 was swapped for a 350 but I don't know what the 350 is from, cloth seats, manual windows, two-wheel drive. It's my first pickup truck I've ever owned and will definetly get used as a truck here.
what oil cap are you running. Just like me with that setup it's close to the CAI lol. I can get it off with channel locks and even shaved smooth the tabs off the oem cap. Would be nice to have something easier to get right off easier.
That car was built in brookfield ohio by my dude Greg. He built it in a car port in his driveway. The engine is a 5.3 from a 99 silverado. Nice to see it's still going .
You're going to be searching forever. They only made them from 2004-2006. Here is a link to a 2006 that have though: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-g4EZN9g6qZo.html
