Posted my comment in the discussion on steam, no I don't think it can compete with battlefield, its everything people hated with 2042. No destruction, specialists, people sitting in helicopters the whole game.
The only thing I want in HLL is the Pacific and new tanks. I see people saying the pacific won't work, but the Japanese had multiple ways to counter enemy armor, such as lunge mines, anti-tank grenades, field guns in caves, naval guns, the 320mm type 98 mortar, and the ability to come up from underground with explosives to ambush tanks.
I don't really understand why the went to the trouble of laying out the groundwork for the african theatre with the UK vs Afrika Corps, only to just go back to US vs Wehrmacht again before even fleshing out the other forces.
@@oofBOHICA I guess it could be either, perhaps the response to the UK stuff wasn't positive enough to warrant working on it right now, or it could also be that they're just not super invested in that front and just made the bare minimum to technically say they've done it.
I love HLL but fuck me this game needs some serious work. Remagen - completely broken. Stalingrad - completely broken. The amount of things you clip on while moving around - completely broken. The bolt actions rifles like Mosin Negant and Kar98 not firing when you click half the time is beyond infuriating, there are forums about this dating back 4yrs with developers acknowledging it’s a problem yet it still isn’t resolved. I’ll hold 15-20 ping on every other FPS game I play yet sit on 80ping in HLL servers. BFV is just as visually intense and I don’t have any of these issues at all. They need to prioritise fixing major issues instead of creating $14 DLC’s, or the player base is just going to leave.
Exactly homie it seems like alot of people are over this bs if they don't do something soon I think the game is in trouble. Like they already beat out so many games with optimization why not keep taking the game to better places.
I love this game how it is in the chat sometimes very friendly but yes we need some improvements of guns Let's say add some mortar grenades To soldiers let's say modify the gun so The recoil is less. Modify the weapon sights. Sometimes a different weapons are hard to aim with those sights This update was a junk completely Right now on PC we have problems just to load the game Sometimes you disconnect you from the server And sometimes it freezes. This is a complete junk of update
The won’t be doing pacific maps. This is because this would require a Japanese faction, and Japan didn’t really utilise tanks. And tanks are an integral part of HLL gameplay.
@@kane_1991 I don't know though homie the tank play in this game is average as in the selection and such. I think even if they don't do pacific they could do well to add more types of tanks and maybe even other vehicles.

Kaisermtbb is another streamer and has direct contact with someone in the develop tea party, he reckons they aren’t going to touch Pacific maps because of the Japanese faction having minimal tank dynamic and obviously they would be a strain in the competitive scene. I barely tank so while you make some valid points on variety etc I hadn’t thought about it much. My giant elephant in the room is the bolt actions not firing when you click, it’s SO FKN ANNOYING. 3yrs they’ve known about it and it’s STILL an issue. Abysmal.

This was one of my favourite games as a kid, the mission when attacking the flak tower with gammon grenades was insanely hard, same with operation market garden. What a fucking cool game
Yeah completely agree with you, i think adding a new faction in the pacific theatre would diversify the game and most likely attract new players. Same with D-Day, it would be cool to have an option for paratroopers as well as landing craft. The new vehicles would be great too, i enjoy the mechanics of the tanks in HLL but after a while they get abit boring. Keep up with it, we enjoy your content mate!
HLL has survived because of how immersive the gameplay is but I've always wished there were more weapons and customization. Not a fan of the $5 uniform DLCs. They also really need to work on optimizing the new maps. Mortain is dog water. I avoid it like the plague.
Yea the uniform DLCs are kinda trash lmfao. I hope they release new content soon cause the longer they wait the more people are just gonna get burnt out!
We also need to ask, why aren't Warthunder players playing HLL now? I've been playing for a long time and I can tell you very, very rarely are there all 6 tank crews up and running in a game. HLL does have maps that require tanks to assist infantry with offense and defense such as Al Alamein and Kursk. So there is a need and a place for players who just want to play vehicles. Having more options for vehicles in the game is always a good thing, but I don't think it will help bring in new players by itself. I do like the idea of placing more importance on the ticket count for each side.
It's hit or miss for sure with ticket count cause some people like how good of a mix it is from arcade to milsim but I feel the same way. Also huge facts bro about having more vehicles I bet they would pull sooo many Armour enthusiasts !
I fuckin hate this, because on the rare chance I get recon I’m behind enemy lines looking for garris and picking off machine gunners and officers, my fuckinh team mates? Act like a rifleman
