nah gang I aint gon lie as a huge GM guy they been slacking. I got rid of my ZL1 (same engine) last year, I had rod knock twice under warranty cause the lifters on them failed. My uncle got an Escalade V company car cause he works at GM and he had lifter and camshaft failure under 40k miles. On these LT4 engines its known they have weak lifters and pushrods which sucks cause they mad fun.

I take it he doesn’t know about the dangers of running a vehicle in the garage and carbon monoxide poisoning. They warn people not to start a vehicle in a garage even if it is open. Just giving you a health warning so he can still be able to enjoy his clean ride
