I've been riding since 1975. I've been to most rallies across the country. In the 70s, you couldn't wear your leathers into bars, and people looked down on us. We decided to try and change that, and help the community and change the laws. We did toy runs to help kids, helmet rallies, and we helped out our neighbors when we could. By the mid to late 80s we had earned our respect, it was a great feeling. The early 90s were great for everyone..the community, bikers, and H-D. In 2000 I started to see a change again. This time, not for the better! I still ride, and own 3 Harleys, including my 1st, a 51 Pan. But sorry to say, I don't do the rallies much anymore, it's NOT the same. We have lost what we worked hard to get. SAD! Long story, short, my matto has always been: Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints. ✌
When I was about 10-11 years old, my dad brought home a mini bike for me that a friend had given him for free. He completely tore it down, rebuilt the engine, painted it candy apple red with white pin stripes….it was amazing. I loved it. Only thing I hated was the pull chain was very hard to pull so I always had to have an adult do it for me because I was young and weak lol. But when they would get it going for me, I’d ride it all over the big piece of property our house was on (still miss that house to this day). Anyways, I would always look in the northern tool catalogue we had, always talking about how I was going to put a Briggs and Stratton on it, and they used to have these chopper bodies in there that I wanted to build as well. Sadly we moved to a house with a small backyard so i had to sell it because i had nowhere to ride it. I still miss that thing.
Oh yea, and since I have a TriGlide now I don’t have saddle bags to reach back into. Getting to the trunk or tour pac takes a whole lot more effort 👍😎😎
Last week I found myself thinking “where are all the Sandoval videos anymore?” Then I saw one that was 4 minutes and change maybe. Now the biggest party of the year and we get 2 minutes. I understand things in your life have changed, family, new property and home upgrades etc….Im not a Vet, so I’m sure my opinion doesn’t hold much weight, but the amount of content has greatly diminished, as well as the type of content I think got you where you are today. Sometimes when people get caught up in success it can be easy to forget how you got there. I love your channel and all the characters we’ve seen in the past, but I miss them as well! Your old staff at KRiver and all your Vet buddies you hung with. CHUCKY!!! For God sake, Chucky! DARYL?? Cheryl? I guess it is what it is because I know sacrifices had to be made to accommodate your lifestyle. I just miss the substance and a good 10 minute Adam Sandoval video. Peace Brother!
Sorry to have missed the S.A. June just can’t work for me with Harvest. But ima gonna ask where’s CHUCKY?! Hope all is well see you in a few weeks @ Twister City HD for the GAC. 🤙🏼🇺🇸
Man I am so sorry I had to miss this year rally I love it last year and had plans on going but just couldn’t make it I’ll be there hopefully next year GOD bless
MAN WHAT A PARTY! Gone to ask my riding buddies if they want to do a 980 mile road trip to the KRIVER in Moyers OK, for the "" Stubborn American Motorcycle Rally "" next year. In the mean time i will have them watch this video. Doing a GREAT THING for many people and Having a fun time doing it!
Me and a fellow Kirkwood, MO HOG member did the Skyway on the way back from the Cajun Country HOG Rally in April. Left out of Talihina right after breakfast at the Hateful Hussy Cafe (highly recommended). Unfortunately, after the first couple of miles, we were into the clouds, and rode almost entirely in fog/clouds until the final descent into Mena. Definitely made the ride a completely different kind of challenge, and we didn't get to see the spectacular views long the ride. But I'm definitely putting it on the "To Ride" list again, and I'll make sure that I've got clear weather when I do it.
Shooting a real gun is different than a paintball gun. Still it's a great practice course, and looks like fun. Yes I carry on me all the time but if you ever seen me you would never know it. It's all about choice. either you do or you don't just my opinion. Enjoyed the video.
Wow that's pretty much what I was thinking bruh buy your woman some new clothes it seems like I've been seeing her in the same gray tank top and black jeans for a few years
Pretty sure she can have anything she wants. Seems neither of them put much value in fancy cloths. They are both always in the same stuff. More of us could probably learn from this.
Ashley could wear a paper bag and I would love her just the same. You’re spot on - we don’t put too much value in belongings… life is more about experiences
