I'm confused example row 4 The sc back loops why wouldn't they just all be white ? Why is white sc back loop and than blue sc back loop ? Wouldn't u just have all white if they are sc back loops
What about the sides? I’m doing a wave blanket and one of my ends is curling so frustrating and I can’t find one video tutorial to solve it….thought this was the one
Thank you for this video!! I made my whole family GIANT stockings I did 40 stitch rounds instead of 28 with chunkier yarn and they're literally the size of my 3 month old twins. I'm going to put them inside the stockings for pictures this year and they will last forever! I did all different color patterns for everyone and we get so many compliments! Thanks for explaining this so well, it's so easy to follow :) Merry Christmas!
I have a lot of extra "webbing" when I do the third and forth stitch no matter how tight my yarn is. Do you know what I'm doing wrong? I wish I could add a picture to show you what I mean but the webbing is 2cm wide for stitch to stitch
Nice pattern. I'm going to use it for a temperature blanket. I'll do a row every other day to keep it from being as long as my first one with 365 rows. Thanks.
This is lovely. I love the Casablanca square too. Will you be doing a tutorial for the Casablanca one? I've looked at the pattern but my crochet level, I would say, is upper beginner. For your squares, it helps me to have a tutorial to follow. Best wishes Paula
Finally I got the 'Third Loop' - Thank you for it! Love your tutorial, is easy to understand the differences between loops. And your soothing voice helps in learning
This was as awesome as I have newly found your Channel to also be. Hello from Texas - this may not be the day subscribed but I probably subscribed if I ever saw one of your videos before and saved it. Today is likely the first time I scrolled through your library of videos though and have found many useful things thank you for sharing your skills and knowledge. I am forever grateful for any help pounding my own.
I just did this on a front post crochet project and it is still curling badly. I'm ready to throw the whole blanket away. It looks horrible and I can't give this as a gift. I feel I've wasted 2 months and a ton of yarn on something that is now useless. Any other suggestions because this isn't the solution for this project. :( TIA
So eveb if its a long one for say a skirt band you just have to make the slip stitch and that will fix the whole curl? Or u have to slip stitch say every 5 rows or 10 rows instead?
I have a pattern for a pair of leggings using this stitch, but could not get beyond the first row. This video has given me hope that I can figure it out. Video and explanations are very well done. 👌
DO! NOT! CHAIN! 2! &! SKIP! A! STITCH! AT! THE! BEGINNING! OF! EVERY! ROW/ROUND! WHEN! WORKING! WITH! HDC!!!! Trust me! Instead, only chain ONE (1) and work a hdc in the same beginning stitch of every row/round. That way you won’t have an unseemly gap or hole in every single row/round ☺️ You’re welcome. Also…. Why even do the slip stitches when working up the cuff??? It literally looks no different then when you DON’T use them. Omit the slip stitches all together when working the cuff and instead just simply do rows of back loop hdc. It’s easier and works up a lot faster too.
