"Oh no, red and blue lights 😂" I went down 1 tooth on the front sprocket and added 2 teeth on the rear sprocket on my VTR, it put my Speedometer out. I fitted a healtec Speedo healer which corrected the Speedo so no guesswork with velocity 🚓. Enjoyed your video, cool to see familiar roads
That must've added a bit of fun factor haha the only reason I didn't also go down one tooth on the front is the Ninja would throw an engine light 😔 Cheers mate, I appreciate the kind words!
A screwdriver in the chain locks it solid and a bit of pipe over the socket for extra leverage. Basic set of verniers to measure the distance of the rest of the links compared to the Master to set depth and have at it.
Looks like broadford? 🤔 Never done a track day but I agree for sure 💯 even if you go there just to watch people ride, it really puts into perspective what motorcycling actually is. It completely changes your outlook on them to be honest. Shows how much more riding bikes is than just being an idiot on the street 😂 also how capable bikes really are if you ride them properly. Will definitely say, anyone who thinks they’re a good rider on the street, or has an ego and rides dumb definitely needs to just go to a track and watch good riders ride, it’ll humble you just by watching and put into perspective how much more there is to learn, and that there’s more to riding than lane splitting down a freeway or riding on one wheel. Definitely keen for the video bro 😂 if they let you take the gopro on the track that is
I did the ride a few days ago up towards Belgrave and Olinda, got stuck behind a line of cars and a garbage truck stopping frequently, it took a lot of patience not to try and over take with the oncoming traffic, it can be frustrating but having patience and waiting for a safe gap is important. Good video!
Great video!..and thanks for doing it in a normal environment and not at an open field (as many other reviews). I'm looking for my first intercom, and I am at a low budget. I'm in Chile, and from Aliexpress, the Ejeas Q2 cost about USD$40 with delivery included, and the Ejeas Q7 and Q8 version is about USD $10-$15 more expensive which could be an option also. I'd use them basically for: 70% music and recieving phone calls, and 30% communicating with freind(s) when we ride together. In my case I ride with some freinds that dont have Ejeas but Cardo - and in another review I saw that the Ejeas pairs with Cardo. Two concerns I have: **One concern I have is if those cusioned earphones, even with a helmet with a pocket for them, if they bother or press against your ears?**....If they do, I imagine when riding for 3-4 hours, they might start bothering...or not?.. **And my second concern is if its worth paying a bit more for having the mesh tecnology included, if Im going to be riding with freinds that dont have Ejeas, and therefore I guess we will comunicate only by Bluetooth, phone call? Thanks in advance for your comments or suggestions!
Thank you! I removed the ear cushions so they are not an issue anymore. I could not ride with them still on though. If none of your friends are going to be getting EJEAS and you're sure you can't connect to their Cardos via mesh, then I would not bother paying extra for the mesh. If the mesh systems are somehow compatible however, then it is worth it
@@gutterrashrides Thanks for answering! I bought the Q8, and it seems pretty good so far. Music sounds great and loud. In reference to the cusions, they do press a bit on my ears, but not that much, and hope they dont bother on long rides - the cusiones on the ones I recieved aren't able to be removed. I still have to try the pairing with some freinds - But if Bt pairs at 50-100m distance within the city roads, I think it will be ok. Longer interstate trips may be an issue, but I'll see. I feel that it was a good aquisition.
Great vid mate. Love the transparency around skill. You know your limits, that’s super important. Not many bloggers would show their mistakes so good in you! live pretty close to those roads in Gembrook and Emerald (think that’s where you are). Surprisingly challenging and a little mossy this time of year.
Like the video mate.. what part of Melbourne are you from? I'm located near sunshine.. and ride a CB650r. Love to see your video setup one day and go for a ride 😊
I own a 92 gsf250 here in NZ. I love that you can really get on it and not be doing dangerous speeds. Thrill to ride although you sometimes wish it had a little more power. Gives the same vibes as driving a small car fast. Light weight and fun to ride. Was thinking of selling it and I can't even find another one for sale in the country to gauge the price. Maybe it just stays in the garage.. haha.
Am/was 6’3, 85-90 kg, on my ZXR250, arms rest on my knees and have done multiple 1500km weekends, quite comfortable about 250km to a tank and a 650R a few longer 5000km or so week trips on the... the ability to stretch the legs is great. Call it my highway pegs, like a cruiser.
Open roads are loads of fun and makes you wanna twist that throttle, but watch out for wildlife, as I hit a cow that ran on to the road outof the bush, didn't see the damn thing, it f*cked me and my bike up bad.
Not going to disagree with the officer about the pressure in group rides. It all depends on the group though; some are more beginner friendly than others - and I can't say I've had a group I've ridden with here where that pressure has been there. 100% on a lot of fatalities this year. Ride safe!
