Therw is a foot latch at the bottom of the steering pedestal that you push with your foot and it will allow the steering wheel to come closer to the seat and make operating more comfortable.
You do realize that steering wheel wheel tilt down adjust that grain table reel down and back to the cutter bar just a little it will help rake the beans in this was a horrible growing season for farmers this year
Please check those auger fingers. If you don't, instead of SAm being feed up, the combine is going to be torn up!. That noise does not sound good and it will not get better. IT IS A VERY easy fix, not complicated st all.
Hey just alittle advice I think you all need to let the beans dry some more there is no dust coming from the combine and the beans are bunching up on the header take a sample and get it tested for moisture so you don't get dock at the elevator
Cutting straight down the rows is gonna wear down the knives that are doing all the cutting a lot faster than the others any type of angel is gonna make it feed better as well
May the sample man at the granary be a good guy because where we dump at he cuts no slack. Our man does try to tell us if we have to much damage or moisture to high. Happy Harvesting
Good morning brother I’m sorry I did not watch all the video before I commented, but I have to let you know this on your gear shifter start out in first gear shift all the way through fifth when you get the fifth gear and you top out in the speed, mash your clutch pull your little dog leg and then shift back in the first gear and then start back over with your gears
Okay take it from a man that has had several dump trucks with 5/2 transmissions and rear ends if you empty and running flat ground leave it on the high side or shift it on the low side and once you go thru them all the lows pop the button when 5 low is topped out and mash the clutch as soon as you pop the button it will kick the rear into high let out and give her gas that big block 366 with her having a 18ft box on her back should do just fine
Also I run a 4420 and two 6620 jd combines like the guy said in short beans try to run at alittle angle helps feed a lot better that way they not falling off the cutter bar until you can rebuild the reel Larry or just run to you local Lowe’s or lumber yard and get you a couple 1x4s and patch in the place on the reel up might not have the gathering fingers but just the paddles will help a lot as well
Also hearing what sounds like a couple auger finger guides are missing or wore out definitely fix that or they might retract to far in the auger and when they come back out the will rip that auger apart like a can opener
I’ve got to get ours back going. I love a good Bob truck. Ours has air brakes and needs some air line work but I intend to get it back going this winter
