Thanks for checking out the Stormworks Unlimited Channel.
I've been playing Stormworks for a while now and am rolling up on the 2K hours played mark here soon! This Channel is to showcase the builds I have done over my time in Stormworks, bring in new content as I create it, as well as some basic tutorials on systems in Stormworks that confuse even the best builders out there. Ill be mixing it up as I go along here, everything from VTOL Jets, to Submarines that go Mach2, or pack torpedoes, CWIS anti aircraft weapons, WW2 vehicles and weapons and I might even delve into some of those lovely boring LUA videos.
I hope you all enjoy the channel, please consider subscribing to get all that new content as it arrives.
my missile keeps going straight forward and crashing into the ground. what am i doing wrong? edit: i made it work but now it just kinda goes wherever it likes. any fixes?
i haven't visited this in a while, ill load it up and see what's up. Things to check. GPS sensor, compass sensor, and keypad hooked up correctly. then check orientation of all control surfaces
You can make nets even larger actually! Put two of the net nodes on the top front and two of the net nodes on the back bottom, the diagonal distance will get you jusssst that much more net. Also while you can do things with net microcontrollers strictly speaking they aren’t necessary as a signal sent to one node of a net is sent to all nodes of a net so with four winches and three possible signals you can merely feed three Boolean signals down the cables via the winch for retract/extend/release. Though not applicable to every type of net rigging it does make for much smaller net sub objects which gives you more room for floaters/sinkers (which force the net more open) and altimeters (that you can feed in the number data of a cable, subtract from a shipside altimeter and route to your fish finder lua to show where your net is relative to the shoal even in the deep sea where visual confirmation is impossible). I’ve done nothing but make fishing ships since the update hit… 😂
Also why is it that so many people only pay attention to trawling? There are so many other methods of commercial fishing, but many only know about trawling.
Man, of course right when they release an awesome fishing update is when i happen to get burnt out on the game. I've been thinking of making a stern trawler like up in alaska, but I've been so burnt out on the game, i just have no motivation. It especially sucks because i wanted to be one of the first to post a ship on workshop, but oh well.
I made a turbine powered boat with a giant V under water, made out of railing, to funnel fish into a row of hoppers. It works pretty good if you don't hit the bottom. Probably costs more in fuel than you get in fish, so not a career boat!
