This is suuuuch an important subject and discussion! The Great Depression point is absolutely pivotal to the mindset of society who was raised after that and how our male female roles developed after that. Unfortunately there is a lot of confusion from that time and that line. Glad you guys are openly sharing 🎉 And yes! Masculine men don’t freak out! Insecure men freak out and I’ve seen it and they also can tend to expect women to cook clean give birth and raise kids and also work while the men expects to only work- that’s not in good exchange and personally I think that’s where relationships can fall apart.
I can run my household just fine. My mom at a very young age taught me. She told me , if you happen to fall in love with a woman that doesn’t know how to run a household, you will know. Wise woman , my mother.

I like feminine women and I like professional women. What I don’t like is a woman trying to pretend they don’t need a man and behave in a macho type of way. It’s all this false information being fed to them.
I loved the episode! My partner said that he doesn’t want to think about marriage any time soon because he was already married 🤦🏻♀️ but he wants the commitment, creating and babies and everything that comes with the marriage. Now, my problem with him is that financially he is stuck and I don’t see the future where if I get married and want to quit my job to be a stay home mom he will be able to support us. And this is killing me because I personally always want to expand in all of my dynamics very fast and obviously have financial freedom to support my family. So, yes I will wait for the ring before I have any babies and I don’t know how to push him to produce more and become the household support. Everything else about him is perfect though 😅♥️

Soft girl “era” was back in the 50’s through maybe 70’s which to a grater or lesser degree has transformed into boss girl “era”. This in my opinion is a message for girls going into womanhood in order for them to break them “free” from the control of men.
Soft girl is for her partner, boyfriend or husband. Boss girl is for the job or business.These are describing 2 different dynamics. This is how I see it would apply nowadays.
Men and women should not be in competition. We should be working together for survival and success. There are definitely ideological agendas designed to destroy our natural course of life.
