This is a superb boat. Wait to comment until you have piloted one. Rough water, at speed, she is at her best. Really makes a case for a 50er having surface drives.
hi regarding this tachometer, my needle sits at the moment at 6 oclock after i was using a multicutter to mount a vhf radio in the panel, how do i get the needle back to its start position at the 0.?
The amount of idiots commenting about this post is staggering. The author is ASKING how to check his motors hours because his gauge doesn't have an hour meter, you infidels!!
1. Turn the key to "on" (not start) after it has been off. 2. The tach should jump to a reading between 0 and 5000 3. Divide the reading number by 10 to get the number of hours. For example, if the tach goes to 4000, that means it has 400 hours. IMPORTANT: if the engine has more than 500 hours, the "check engine" light will flash once for each additional 500 hours. So for instance, if the tach goes to 3000 AND the check engine light flashes once, that means the engine has 500+300 hours = 800 hours. etc. Used boats from Japan - www.boatflow.jp
