Idk if the random short cut was supposed to be there but was nice to see my truck slip in there (Cottoncandycummins) and very glad to see Carlos gettin down in the video as well. 👌🏻 very good video.
Next time you do burnouts you might wanna remeber that diesels hate to be revved like you were on and off the throttle and if you wanna do a real smokey burnout you need more wheel speedso dont leave it in 1st gear lol
@Wicky Built I just found your channel, and I thought you did a great job on the video. And if you're looking for more truck shows, there's one here in Ohio called the mid Ohio power show in Millersburg, Ohio. At the show, they have a show n shine, dyno, sled pulling, burnouts, dirt drags, and so much more. The show is June 22nd 2024. Thanks for taking the time to read this comment. 😊😊
Not to be a Debbie downer. But if you mounted the battery behind the passenger it will help counteract the weight of the driver. An that fuel cell mount is nowhere near strong enough. I would recommend using ⅝ or ¾ dom tube an make a basket for it to sit down in.
Hey good job man, that's quite the feat taking out Josh in dirt drags. Pretty chill of him to lend you a turbo too. Your truck was moving out a hell of a lot faster than the 850 or so from the dyno run. Awesome job man and glad to see that hard work paying off, can't wait to see what you do with the Cummins.
What size are those slicks? They look a lot smaller than standard, but I am assuming they are better for drag racing since they are the equivalent of a gear change.
Honestly I just got a killer deal on the 48 swap, the th400 is by far the best option but also the most expensive, 4l80 I’m just not familiar with it With the 48 I know dozens of people that can build/help me rebuild if I ever run into issues and at events EVERYONE has spare 48 parts
@@wickybuiltIf it can’t make 1100 going down the road why say it’s making 1100? I mean, I guess you can claim those numbers if you want but that’s no better than the guy at the gas station claiming his stock J35 Honda is making 400.
@@wickybuiltOn top off that nitrous hits air at about -125 degrees. Now I’m not the smartest man alive but I know when a really cold substance comes into contact with really hot metal bad shit usually follows. Combine that with the natural destructive property of nitrous, unregulated at that, and it seems like there’s a shitload of risk there just to tell people the motor “made” 1100 horsepower with absolutely no performance backing those numbers up. Literally risking destroying a motor for clout. That’s kids today, I guess. You do you. Of all the dynos pulls I’ve seen, videos and personally, I’ve never seen anyone do that.
None of this is a race lmao😂 small wheels and tires so it seems like it makes power and even worse was the fake forced induction from the big ass tank😂
Is there no standalone options for the Duramax platform? I am a Cummins guy so pretty ignorant about the GM. I understand if it's budget reasoning 100% but seems that might be a better option. Plus the infinite datalogging options. Seems you would want every safety possible to keep that v8 alive with the power you are looking at.
Motec, and Bosch but they’re both 15-25k just for the ecu and wiring harness. I will be adding an aem logger to log and monitor drive pressure, EGTs, boost. Rail pressure, timing, pulsewidth, MAF, RPM will be logged through efi live. Pretty similar to an 849 ecm setup that guys like josh McCormick still run
Wish i lived closer to where everyone is at. Im in NJ, there aint shit here. Ucc was a blast tho. Least now you got time to get it in order. So close man.
Ill keep watching, you keep making videos. Im the same way, own a little home improvement company, and build my own shit. And enjoy every min of it, highs, lows, all of it. I saw you in passing at ucc this weekend.
