Purged all the Life in the upper layers and yet they remain unsatisfied..." Its arsenal grew ever since their last encounter in the belly of the corpse king and so did Gabriel's hatred towards it. "And so do you..." A flying foe... The whiplash taken from its inferior successor would have come in handy indeed. "You have taken everything from me, machine, and now all that remains is perfect hatred" The music of the organ kept getting closer and closer. Such small corridors would have never fit their imminent clash. He wanted the machine to have room for movement, the chance to kill it after having truly shown his angelic prowness. "Machine..." The Revolver was ready and so was the golden coin in its left hand. "I will cut you down..." Those were not even remotely close enough to be someone's last words. "Break you apart, splay the gore of your profain form aceoss the Stars!" So close... "I will grind you down until the very sparks cry for mercy!" The metallic finger ready on the trigger... "My hands shall relish ending you! Here! And! Now!" The angel's wings and halo shine red, mirroring their owner's immense hatred for his opponent. He did keep an eye on V1 during its descent thru Hell. "You fool!" The machine used its Rocket Launcher, only for Gabriel's Sword to blast a beam of light directly at the still launching rocket, causing the weapon to explode and sever V1's right arm. "You are getting rusty, machine!" Adapting to the event, it quickly attached V2's arm where the now destroyed one once was. Just in time to deliver a full power blow to Gabriel, strong enough to make him back away. "Is this what I lost to!?" Using the whiplash, V1 plunged itself towards the angel, landing a kick on his chest and using the revolver's charge shot to hit him right in the face, only to be pushed backwards right after. "Nothing but scrap!" The floor of the room was the ideal trap. Water. Attaching itself to the ceiling, the machine pulled itself to it, only for Gabriel to use one of his ethereal Blades to sever the wire. "I'll show you divine Justice...!?" Using the remaining momentum and a dash charge, V1 reaches the top of the hall, right in time to use the knuckleblaster to throw the angel crash landing to the floor. "You need... More... Power...!?" It was on the ground, covered in water. The machine pulled the trigger of the Railcannon, electrouting its foe but V1 itself did land on the floor, momentarily frying its dash system. "Is that the best you've got!? Ah ah ah ah ah ah!" Charging to the machine, Gabriel aimed for the head, only for the blow to be stopped by the still recharching Railcannon. The weapon got severed in half but it gave V1's dash system enough time to get back online, allowing it to back away far enough to send a Revolver round ricochet on the nearby wall, hitting the angel's back, at the point where the wings were attached to his body. "I never had a fight like this before!" The Whiplash was gone and so the Railcannon but there was yet another method to fry him. Getting its machinegun ready, V1 threw a wire at Gabriel. Ready to turn on the high voltage. "Come on machine, fight me lime an animal!" Catching the wire mid hair, the angel pulled its adversary towards himself. The countermeasure was ready. After a quick barrage of Machinegun bullets, V1 got the Shotgun ready, blasting directly at Gabriel's face. "Show me what you were made for, ah ah ah ah ah ah!" It quickly got four coins ready. It only needed the right chance. "Come get some Blood! Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah!" Not yet. "I will show you true splendor!" Almost there... "What is this feeling...? Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah!" A fraction of a second long window. It threw the coins in rapid succession, shooting a perfectly precise Revolver round. "Enough...!?" Gabriel threw his own Sword at V1, impaling it to the wall by the main chassis but, at the same time, the Revolver's round, after ricocheting between the coins, hit him right in the face, breaking his helm in the process and making Blood pour out of the open wound and thus fall on one knee. "Twice!? Beaten by an object... Twice! I’ve only known the taste of victory, but this taste... Is... Is this my Blood? I’ve never known such... Such... Relief? I... I need some time to think... We will meet again, machine..." Gone. "May your woes be many... Eh... And your days few" Removing the angel's golden Sword, Splendor, from its chassis, V1 gave a silent farewell to the Revolver, stroke by the Blade. And after having used the fallen angel's blood to recover the damage sustained during the battle... It wielded the Blade, reasuming its unrelenting march thru Hell, till its next and final clash with Gabriel.
