These gals just killed it at the Lakers game. The National Anthem arrangement might be one of the best I've ever heard. The halftime show medley was impressive as well. All of the spotlight operators commented on how good they were.
@SunsetSingers You had literally over 100 years of professional experience that afternoon running Spotlights. For the guys to chime in on headset how good they thought you all were is pretty rare 😉 IATSE Local 33
Thank you! The Sugarplums' music is available on all streaming platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify and Amazon! Stay tuned for a full holiday album soon! :)
If you didn’t live through the 50s you may not be able to appreciate just how good these ladies are. I did, and I’m vouching for them. They are very, almost unbelievably, good. I’m impressed.
@@SunsetSingers You are welcome. But, please, I should be thanking you for that performance. I lived through both the 50s and the 60s. I remember the pre-Elvis days and the British music invasion. I remember early rock, and growing up in Detroit, I clearly recall the Motown sound. My favorite period was early rock through the early 60s, with a soft spot for real doo-wop.. In those days the music mediums were AM non-stereo radio, scratchy .45 RPM records and slightly out of focus black and white TV. I share these things to help affirm that I indeed was there. So having been there and done that, I am in a good position to offer a personal opinion on your RU-vid performance. Frankly, I’m delightfully astonished at the quality of your presentation. Your talent and hard work is evident in your product. I’m very impressed. My desire is to say more, and to say it in more detail, but I will refrain out of respect for the original recording artists. So it is I who thank you for sharing your gifts on RU-vid. I enjoyed those snippets of your performances very much indeed. To reach your level of skill must have taken a tremendous amount of commitment and hard work. The talent aspect speaks for itself. Now, if you will excuse me, I want to get back to that video for a repeat viewing. Maybe more than one.
Phil Spector's Wall of Sound Productions along with the very best session players in LA at the time "The Wrecking Crew" were very real and as far as the "Wrecking Crew" were the studio musicians behind more great artists than any other from Frank Sinatra to the Beach Boy's..Regards.
This was one of my favorite songs on the CW Network. You ladies were so freaking good though it's hard to really pick just one. Actually all your stuff was just beyond amazing.!!!
I'm not sure how I stumbled up on this, but this was amazing! All of you are... Huge props to the guy beat-boxing, great accompaniment. I hope this goes viral
