A compelling but harrowing look st a shameful time in American history where people wete the subject of a political witch-hunt,their lives,careers, families all but destroyed through smears and inuendo by people who themselves shoud have been investigated!

Maybe the term "ozoner" originated as a reference to the fact that you're out there under the clear sky ( except for your car roof).
@davidhuber7552
@davidhuber7552 27 дней назад
My hunch about the origin of the term "ozoner" - maybe a reference to the many science-fiction movies shown, or maybe a reference to a particular type of person that frequented drive-ins.

The potted history laid out in the first three minutes holds out little promise of an accurate, nuanced reading of events. I realize this presentation is meant as a brief introduction to the period for those lacking basic knowledge, but even on those terms it's sadly lacking.

This is better than cage free where the hens are still packed into a warehouse but peck each other to death. Either you shell out the money for pasture raised eggs or you buy the regular eggs from caged chickens.

He was very underrated... And I was stunned when I saw the ending of one of his movies with Malkovich. He truly was a legend and deserved at least an honorary Oscar. Instead, they now award people like Will Smith, which, in my opinion he's no less than a clown and I really hate his movies. In the movie "Ali", he only slightly looked like Ali phisically, and the dude just has no character, period.

We absolutely love Gretchen!!! Her desserts are amazing, and her upbeat personality brightens everyone’s day. She’s truly one of the best parts of UNL! Every year during our summer camp, she remembers all of our kids, making them feel special. Thank you for all that you do!

This talk is a stain on Dworkin’s otherwise great legacy. It’s not surprising that the video cuts off right after he finishes (no applause?) and before we hear the Q&A session. He bases his critique on amount of land owned by the minority Arab population and education. Even if these two data points are true, it is an incredible leap from there to suggesting that Israel shouldn’t be an ethnic state. Minority rights in Israel are leagues better than in any of the surrounding Arab countries-if they allow Jews to live there at all, to say nothing of the rights of homosexuals in Israel as compared with theocratic Arab states. On this, Dworkin is silent. As October 7th has shown, it would be absolute lunacy for Israel to allow immigration from those pretending to want to integrate into Israel. How many residents from Gaza who had day work passes in Israel were involved in reconnaissance and planning? At any rate, do any Israelis care about these fine philosophical points when faced with genocide? I suspect not. Would Dworkin dare discuss the theocratic Muslim States in the Middle East? I sincerely doubt so. As usual, no Jews, no News. Bottom line: when your ethnic group faces genocide it is perfectly reasonable to start a State for the protection of that ethnic group. Edit: forgot to mention one of the worst things about this lecture. Dworkin actually seems to blame the victim, suggesting that the hatred from “neighbors” towards Israelis is because of their religiousness or religiousness/ethnic-ess of their state. This is just rank Judeophobia and thinly veiled at that.

Professor Wheeler Dixon, if by any chance you're reading this, I wish I could discuss or at least learn about some very particular documentaries. What I mean is about your own documentaries--especially, the seven late 1970s UFO/paranormal documentaries you made for Delineator Films (Attack From Outer Space, UFO Exclusive, Star Force, Amazing World Of Ghosts, Mysteries From The Bible, World Of Mystery, and UFO: Top Secret). I'm fortunate enough to have watched them all and even located some copies of them here and there, but I can never find any information at all about them in print or online, not even on the major go-to sites like IMDB or Wikipedia, nor anywhere else online other than "these movies exist". I really want to learn about their histories and backgrounds--why were they made, for whom were they made, were they strictly commissions or pet projects or Masters theses, how Sidney Paul was involved as narrator, how Jim Cookman was involved in most of their scores, how Delineator Films functioned as a company, what prompted the UFO and paranormal subject matters, how the stock footage and music was obtained and from what sources, what impact they made on yourself as an established film historian and expert, and so forth. If you even wrote about these in your books, I would surely enjoy reading about them there. I hope those don't fall into indefinite obscurity, or even worse, get swept under the rug. Yes, I'm proof that there are people out there who care to know more about them.

Unfortunately yes there are hormones and antibiotics or medications in all of our farmed meat including meat, poultry, fish, etc. When you put hundreds of animals together in farming all kinds of antibiotics and medications are needed to keep them "healthy"... The government regulations only limit how much per weight is allowed on consumed part...

Definitely a difficult topic (white supremacy and racism) that we do not like and we seldom choose to have. It is apparent from the number of views vs few likes on this video. But it is a topic of discussion, we can have with one another, to listen and learn from others who do not identify as white.
