You look like you enjoy your work. How do you deal with sheep and goats together without sheep getting copper poisoning or goats not getting the copper they need? Are goats separated for minerals with copper, and how many times a year?
I really do enjoy what I do. Hair sheep, which is what we raise, do need copper. So them co-existing either the goats is no issue on that part. Wool sheep however cannot have copper. Sheep with wool tend to be more susceptible to copper toxicity than sheep with hair. Copper is needed by a variety of key systems in the body for reproduction, immunity and growth.
On the sweak. Just squirt some oil on the strut assembly and that takes care of that. They dry up . And this resolves that problem. No need to change anything out.

No. But it’s a myth that goats eat everything, they do not. Once weeds and grass and other brush hit a certain growing level, they won’t eat it cause it’s not nice and tender. If they don’t got much acres to roam, then they will eat everything. But unlike me, where they’ve got almost 1,800 acres of solar fields to graze… they only gonna eat the nice tender stuff. Not the really woody/hard things. And that’s because the tender stuff has a better taste than the stuff that’s not as tender.
