I wish I could but unfortunately about 2 weeks after I took that video I got laid off from the job but I can tell you it would push I could could Stand it up with the winch before it would slide
I've been there, right to coal branch deliving block. I've been over to Gateway, and black eagle, and that one at the foot of the hill on the oceana side. I've been over Bolt Mountain a few times also. Last time I delivered to coal branch the loader man had to push me out, it was too muddy to climb out empty.
I remember not long after they started the mine it had rained for three day straight we had 8 tractors hauling by the end of the night I was the only one left hauling because everyone else was scared to go down in the hole I can still here one driver in particular saying over the radio I was gonna get half way down the hill and jackknife oh the look on his face when I rolled by with 80k behind me was priceless
I really enjoy watching your videos they make me really happy and I have subscribed to your channel and keep up the good work and I love trucks and I am watching from new Zealand 🇳🇿
So you have to take some pressure off to shift but don’t drop all your torque inexperienced drivers will shock load the driveline and that’s what gets u joints yokes and rear ends
Damn I wish I could ride along like I used to with my cousins in SE Ky Harlan-Hazard. Riding that ol’ Mack DM800 with a straight pipe, damn what a way to see the mountains. You don’t get views like this from the interstate 🐾🇺🇸✌️
I like it! I just couldn’t make out what you were saying over the truck. I worked for the gas and oil industry for a short period of time driving tanker, staying out of town in hotels, but if all goes well, I will be local driving a coal truck.
Thanks Chris for the video. I was a coal hauler in the late 80's and early 90"s In Ohio,WV, PA. I had a lot of good times with the guys that I worked with at the time but when the rates went down and pay was bottoming out I had to move on.I moved on, had a couple of different jobs and landed with a good LTL company in Linehaul and thats where I've been for the last 23 years. A few more years and I will retire but I miss my coal hauling days. Thanks again.
I was a coal hauler in pa for 12yrs.Most of was strip to power plant hauls. Those lease roads to the cut y’all have dam…seemed like over a mile back lol. Hopefully you get decent rates. Great vid 🇺🇸
