Star Wars videos covering a wide range of topics from the movies, shows, novels, comics, and video games. I hope you enjoy diving into the content of a galaxy far far away and learn something new.
During the end credits of ROTS I get depressed when Christopher Lee and Samual L Jackson’s characters come up knowing that everyone died as pawns in Palpatine’s scheme for control of the galaxy
Still wild to me that they have communications faster than light, traveling across the galaxy with no delay in conversation... But they can't figure out color
"Why Count Dooku Surrounded Himself with Alien Species." To sell more action figures. George Lucas and Kenner learnt the valuable lesson that kids didn't rush to toy stores to buy dolls of elderly White men in robes.
Yeah they used more practice effects and costumes than I realized back when it came out. I wonder if Jar Jar would have been better received if he was a costume and not cgi? Probably still be annoying to most if that was the only thing that changed about him.
There must’ve been a human-led galactic genocide that gave humans their human-supremacy, made the galaxy 10-to-1 human, and also sired a variety of humanoid mutants that can produce hybrid offspring with humans. All of this points to the pre-Jedi period being one of exclusively dark side users, wherein the force immediately corrupts those who don’t understand it, and wherein the old imperial “Sith species” is to be revealed to have actually been the humans.
Also, your “Star Wars is basically a eugenic tale with a successful Third Reich” assessment would be great if Disney were not too chicken to tell that story well and above-board.
Honestly it’s make for an interesting narrative. The original trilogy did hint at it but they never fully explored it, the sequel trilogy should’ve explored this further.
@@doubleflores8350 I mean, it’s turning budget and technological truths about the original trilogy (more humans) into a narrative gift. But Disney didn’t take the home-run story opportunity. Just like they censored Scar in the new Lion King cause heaven forbid we have genuinely terrifying dictator enemies.
George Lucas doesn't know how to write stories. The script said Skywalker must win but it is understated how far superior Darth Tyranus was. Over 70 years of Jedi training plus the power of the dark side...Midi clorians are ridiculous and it "broke" the Force. When Skywalker was denied the rank of master he murdered kids a few days later🤔... WTF 😂😅 George Lucas got lucky in 77-83.
And what makes it more sad, the fact that thrawn was actually treated pretty well by imperial standards being classified as a near-human at academy, being mislabeled as a pantoran was probs the best thing that could have happened. If he had been something more monstrous like a trandoshan or toydarian I am confident he couldn't have even gotten an audience with the emperor to begin with, they would've shot first and asked no questions.
@jeffersonsam5316 understandable, i often try to consolidate things in my mind that dont contradict each other but I agree with the notion that alot of georges original vision has been altered and not for the better. Although i feel that alot of things can coexist. For example, im looking forward to the eventual captain vanto and admiral pelleon interactions. Hopefully in live action they can combine both of thrawns watsons together.
@@peachcarton976 yeah I agree but I think it’s bad for Disney to alter any of George’s work anyway but here’s hoping that they can still make it entertaining
When people ask me about my favorite Star Wars character, I often say, The Executor. She’s beautiful. Super Star Destroyers are the final bosses of my Omega Fleet story. They’re so extreme, so terrifying, and hundreds of times the mass of an ISD. Love them getting attention.
Uh. They could ram into anything in hyper speed. 😊 Even by accident. Or to a planet the plotted but just plot through the planet. Same reason human don't play bumper cars in real life on the highway..
