This show was probably canceled cause it was a little too early for the world to get a real spiritual eye-opener cause that shit is so going on now and about to get worse . very soon this world is going to see the spirit world cascade through the veil and into ours.
As far as I know, it was simply cancelled because of the low audience figures. It also had a massive budget, almost on par with TWD. And honestly, even though it started strong, the second season already was pretty mid. Maybe they will revive it once the whole TWD universe has come to an end
