I post concert recordings and fairly low quality one-take covers of some of my favorite songs. I take requests if I like the song that you're requesting.
What an incredible show!!! I think I was standing just a few feet behind your vantage point! But my own recording was far worse. I'd been wanting to see The Decemberists live for over a decade, and when this song started to play, I was living the dream haha. Thank you so much for preserving this memory!
Thank you so much for sharing! I’m just now watching…I can’t believe they finally played “It’s All Over Now Baby Blue”!!!! I literally cried when I saw it on the setlist. You guys got the best Dead & Company setlist ever! I can’t wait to watch! Thanks again for looking out for the couch tour fam. Have a great Sunday and take care. 👋😊 🙌🔥🥰❤🤗🔥🙌
Definitely doesn’t sound like Jerry, but I doubt anyone ever could. I’d rather hear people continuing the legacy of the music by playing it than it being set up on some kind of untouchable pedestal just because none of it will ever be as good as when he did it though.
Another imagined keeper of the flame who knows more about the legacy of GD than the musicians who created in the first place🥳. And apparently is much more insightful than the obvious enthusiastic audience. And feel compelled to share his negativity. But as they sing: maybe the dark is from your eyes (mind)! Personally I simply can't understand why people like you get a kick out of making completely hollow comments about music they don't like. My life is certainly too precious to waste time listening to music I don't like.
Nothing quite like a band from Portland singing about something as horrific as the Shankill Butchers. Really drawing on things they understand and can relate to. Jaysus...
@@strawberry444 yeah, I tried moving the capo around a bit but just figured I’d post it in the original key down an octave just based on how the chords sounded. I hadn’t actually sung the higher bits before recording the video though. The second time around I kept it lower since it was definitely a strain to get up there. Since I try to post the first take of whatever I record though, I just uploaded this one.
Was there cried like boo hoo hoping, my son who I haven't seen in 11yrs was w me, we both had an emotional as well as spiritual experience. Ur videos awesome cried again, God they're Awesome
Thanks for making that clear. So all the fans who had a magic time at the concert was just deluded pseudo-heads who had spent too much money to complain. And idiots like me who enjoys listening to the music and feel Mayer is a true master of the guitar should have realized the music died with Jerry and no one should touch it after his death, well perhaps except Phil. Or could it just be a projection of the darkness in YOUR eyes? But honestly I was beginning to worry: a Deadco video without even one negative comment!! But then you saved the day, lol.
been looking for a cover of this song and yours is the one i liked best! you have a good voice and the melancholy and groove really came across. Well done, loved it!
