Ive deleted the post because while i stand by it (for the most part), I do not think it is a good thing as it will not help spread christianity but harm that, and the entire point of my channel is that spreading of faith, so its better to stay silent on that matter. However, id still like to have our discussion, so ive copied it all down here. Sorryy for not responding yet, been dealing with some stuffs, hopefully will respond tomorrow. Squimblink respectfully I don't think it's a sin. Look at the animal kingdom which God handcrafted. A lot of them can switch sides if ya know what I mean. Animals do gay stuff all the time too, just look at penguins. Again I'm tryna be respectful. I do agree that people need to stop calling people homophobic for not agreeing with it, let them have their own opinions. Your argument of lgbtq needing to stop being shoved in our faces is flawed because the Church has historically up until recently shoving Christianity into everyone's lives and forcing their beliefs upon them, even executing those who went against them (late roman times is the prime example of this). Not saying that everyone who is a Christian does this, I don't. Let people have their opinions and live their lives cuz at the end of the day, we don't know what God sees as a sin, the only outline we have are the biased and altered translations of the bible that fit the beliefs of those who translated it. The 10 commandments are the most important ones and none of them says that gay is a sin. This is just my belief on the matter and I'm not tryna force it on you, just have a discussion. EuropeanApple Point 1 - Sin It is a sin for a few reasons. Firstly, several verses outright say it (Leviticus 18:22 from the Old Testament, and 1 Corinthians 6:9 from the new testament). There are absolutely altered bibles, however they were all protestant and to fit an agenda, like Martin Luther adding the word "alone" after faith in Portestant Bibles and removing several books of it. The true, Catholic Bible, however, also says this. There are thousands of greek manuscripts agreeing to an extreme degree on the new testament, and what the new testament says in Matthew 16:18-19 is that Peter is the father of the church, and that the gates of hell would not prevail against it. This does not make the church infalliable, however it does make it the true church, and the kingdom of god on earth. This is important, because, that means the Catholic Bible is true. Also, the ten commandments do condemn homosexuality. God intended sex to be only between spouses "Do Not Commit Adultery", and marriage is between only a man and a woman. So if you enjoy sexual pleasure with a man, it is sinful. No matter what. I'm glad you brought up the part about having a discussion, because i think respectful discussions about these topics are important, but i need to go take a shower. I'll respond to your point about the Church forcing their beliefs on others afterward. God bless
You didn't have to delete it. Tbh the only point that I have left is that there are a lot of directly stated sins in the Bible and no one points out those, but a few vague verses about how being gay is bad are constantly being brought up. I also feel the need to say that only God and Jesus are allowed to call out others for their sins, cuz we all are sinners. No debating that. For God so loves the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall have eternal life. I know many gay Christians who deeply believe in God and he isn't going to reject them because they're gay. God loves all his children and sacrificed one of his own (Jesus) so that he could be close to us all at the end of time. I respect your opinion and I'm not tryna force mine on to you, just offering some new perspective on the matter
