So I stumbled here cause of a comment you left in another totally separate video about an Amtrack Train and child...regardless I had to see what you were up when I read a comment from you as you peeked an interest in me for some reason....sure enough your channel had MOTORCYCLES but not only that but One Kick BSA's which are a favorite of a man I like to watch on here...me I like bikes also I have 83 and 84 Honda 750 Shadows...anyways this music box was special because I've never heard one before and wanted to hear it's mechanical and handmade sounds....it really is something that time warps my mind back to a very early period! AWESOME!

This one was bought from Smurfs 88 Store on Ali Express. This was a kit, that I put together myself, or- for an extra £70 you can buy the ready to run item.. but they need a little simple, but challenging modification, to run as sweet as this one. Please join our Engine Group on Facebook, and I can give you all tbe details.. Here is the link! facebook.com/groups/3216842325293248/?ref=share Kind regards, Gary (group admin)
Hi Gary. Just been watching some of your B31/33 videos, beautiful bikes I have 49 B31 which I enjoy riding and like so many found there is a knack to starting it. Starting isn’t the problem though, when it’s warm and fully advanced, it always seems to need a little choke and struggles to go beyond 55mph. Any ideas? It’s has carb clean, points, plug fresh petrol etc etc, grateful for any advice Thank you
Great looking bike Gary, sometime ago I was thinking of upgrading mine using B33 parts but didn't in the end as mine runs like a Rolex watch. How is yours running with the upgrades? is it smoother, faster etc.
The ebay stuff from India is very poor quality and not the same as the stuff produced by Royal Enfield. I bought a cheap bullet 350 front wheel that was oval with an even more oval brake drum. Footrest rubbers that perished and fell off after 1 month, a headlamp that had the Bulb holder twisted off center so it wont light the road up in front, lucas points with soft steel contacts, cables that the nipples pulled off. A smiths 120 replica that had an MPH face but was geared for KMH. I could mention Ariel rear stands made from brittle cast iron and replica girder forks made mostly out of car body filler. The speedo you bought was your fault for not looking at the description of the fitting you needed a 17mm but you bought the 12mm they are both available, but the speedos are crap anyway, they start flicking up and down after a couple of weeks. If you need to buy stuff cheaply you will always buy twice. I go straight to Hitchcocks now.
