I'm here reliving my childhood of watching and creating flash stick animations, and I just realized that your flash animations got me into Slipknot. That interest in the band would get me into doing vocals, which would later lead to me making a RU-vid video about Slipknot's vocals that would blow up and give me some semblance of a RU-vid platform. So, I have no idea if you still check your RU-vid account, but, I'm 30 now and the influence that your flash animations had on my life trajectory is mind blowing. I got into guitar and drums, learned to sing and scream, learned actionscript which led to programming--and so much more. And it all sprung from the fact that I heard Slipknot songs in your animations. So much of my very literal identity has an origin point in this old content. Wow. Fucking crazy. I know that might be a bit weird--it certainly is for me--but thank you SO much for starting me on the path into so many domains that I now love to death and consider fundamental parts of who I am. I don't know a thing about you, but I hope your life has been awesome in the last 20 years<3
I fucking loved this animation when I was a kid! I like how the sequel turned out to be a simulated game between two competitive friends. Such memories...I miss these times 😭😭
there's a new one like this called new heights but instead of being based on fatigue timer it's based on balance based on the way your character is weighted and leaning on hand and foot placment and pressure based on model geometry "New Heights Realistic Climbing and Bouldering"
This is IMO the best stick fight animation out there. While a lot of the others are smoother, have cooler powers etc, this one always stood out to me because of its great pacing, funny and original story, deranged close-ups of the stick figures' faces (lol), and even a kinda heartwarming ending. Probably rewatched it about twenty times, and I hope you're doing well in your chosen life and career, Henrik.
0:12 - It's interesting that the green stickman said that it was 2023, then they were playing on such an advanced (now called) virtual reality "vr". The funniest thing is that when this animation was made 20 years ago people thought we would be robots in our present times xd I feel weird about this...
This video was what introduced me to stickman animations in my childhood, it brought me to stickpage and I had drawn stickman comics all throughout my highschool life since I just want to thank you for being such a great impact on my creativity, have a nice one :)
@@danycuate7740 enhorabuena, a mí me faltan un par de cosillas pero esa prueba se me está atascando, me quedo cerca de los 10 minutos pero siempre pasa algo que me jode xD
An absolute masterpiece of not just stick flash animation, but flash animation as a whole. I've watched it since I was a literal child and now I'm about to graduate medical school and I still watch and get a good laugh at this every now and then. Also one of the big stick figure animations that inspired my art and writing along with a few others back when stick animations were at their peak. Thank you Henrik for this masterpiece, I'm glad I found you, the original creator of this work!
