26" barrel is so short :O i have a Fabarm 36" barrel and its the best :) i geuss its what ever you prefer.. but the longer barrel really gives alot of extra punch! i shoot everything with it.. greets from the netherlands!
@@RandyWakeman Hello Randy, the chronograph tells a diffrent story.. maybe with light loads you are right.. but im always shooting high velocity 3" steel loads going around 1600 fps and also with full choke.. fabarm is designed for steel loads, special barrels and chokes. ( you probably know that iv seen you fabarm videos) the extra barrel lenght gives about 150-200 dps more velocity over my 30" over and under so in my opinion worth it... i shoot primarily geese and ducks and killing geese at 60 - 70 meter easy
@@RandyWakeman think of military artillery.. if longer barrels didnt help they would all be short... i have a beretta AL390 silver mallard too.. with 2 barrels.. 28" and 34" over the chrono the longer 1 with the same choke and same ammo gives almost 200 fps more velocity... test it yourself Randy.. take heavy ammo and the same gun with same choke.. only 1 having shorter barrel then the other and you will see for yourself... its not rocket science... also look up Fabarm super goose
Picked up the Weatherby Orion SxS, last year. I've been super impressed for a "budget" side by side. It shoots straight and seems like it'll be reliable in the field.
great work Randy. when I had a new spring that was stiff I just lock the bolt back for a week. works on rifles and pistols. cheaper the shooting it to break it in
Randy I just bought one of these to get into skeet and trap shooting, I want to get into some competitions I must admit at only 23 I am unable to afford anything better like a browning or beretta, do you think this one will be a good entry for me to get into competitions? I know it’s not the latest and greatest O/U but am hoping I can learn good techniques until I’m able to afford a higher quality shotgun.
Awesome review and thanks for bringing up the point about the 30-30. I would bet they got paid to create the straight wall cartridge designations and are paid to keep it that way. A lot of corporate/government money in it. I think these straight wall ar15 cartridges that headspace off the case mouth are downright dangerous. If the mouth is crimped too much, it could possibly enter the rifling and get pinched causing a massive grenade style pressure spike. I'm pretty sure i had that happen years ago on a 45 acp case... 20,000 psi didn't do anything but wreck the mag follower and scratch my forearm up... 50,000 psi or whatever those rifle cartridges are is going to be a different story.
The problem, at the moment, with the 400 Legend is that only two hunting loads are available-- and only one has any published ballistics. Whatever your rifle is, if it doesn't like one of those two loads, you are out of luck. The 350 Legend has well over 20 loads readily available.
Hello, I use composite, but my piston has polymer and yours does not. Also, how can I tell if my piston is in its new and updated state? I do not have the shiny chrome bracelet, only yellow color and polymer black rubber. Also, what is the part you call the action bar? My jar pipe?
Glad I found this video. I purchased one of these rifles when they first came out. It has been a great rifle and have taken quite a few game animals over the years. You have done a good job of covering many issues that are so important. Thanks.
Looks like a good deal, for an affordable accurate clays gun. w Which is exactly what I was looking for, after the expensive 1301 tac mod 2, for HD. As long as it cycles reliably, and lasts, I'm in!

I can’t agree with you on the safety position. I really hate safeties behind the trigger, and much prefer them in front. Also the trigger guard is oversized to allow for use by a gloved hand in cold weather.
I've finally found the perfect bullet for my cva .45 paramount for whitetails the 275 gn black max performs beautifully out too 400 yds with a 110 gn weight blackhorn 209 large rifle magnum primers bullet to bore
Thanks Randy. Great field review. Commentary and shooting action from a very experienced gunner. No crap music. No super opinionated 'in yo face' pointing at the camera and other juvenile drama. No bubba bs.
Good review I am personally disappointed in this new release when I played with one at the nwtf convention it felt cheap compared to my older m2 I personally feel benelli is missing the mark don’t get me wrong I love my m2 And I am just a dedicated turkey hunter but for $1300 bucks doesn’t come drilled and tapped no over size bolt release and having to buy a spring from wolf or taran tactical to eliminate the click
My brother just got a 3.0 and he said the wobble base won’t work with the frame so you can’t use the wheels or handle. Do you know anything about this problem?
It's good to see both barrels shooting to the same POI. Both barrels clearly impacted several inches left of center, though. I'm confident Randy was sighting straight down the rib, i.e., not a gun fit issue, so perhaps the left-biased POI is attributable to the wind?
chuckhawks.com/bushnell_prime1800_rangefinder.html 1800 yards for a large, reflective target. However, it is 1000 yards for a tree, 700 yards for a deer, etc.
Bro nice vid, but may I suggest you invest in a good quality three point bench to shoot from. I dare say your groups may improve a bit. GRL, your man from Edmonton, Alberta. Where the "Men are men, and the women are double breasted" !!!! LOL.
I remember this and it is one of the best 2A speeches in history! The New York Safe Act. He not only is an American hero for his service. He became a hero once again, on this day. I would like to shake this man's hand and buy him a water or beer.
Try these through an 870 SBS with a 12.5 inch barrel. They knocked the glasses of my buddy's face. I asked him how it kicked to which he replied 'not that bad'... 😂
Excellent video as always. Where did you find yours. I have a N2 RS and I'd like to buyt the N2 RS Trap but i don't find any distributor with this beauty available.
