Tell me you know absolutely nothing about game development without telling me. This update was never planned and was rushed out. Getting new lines would have been virtually impossible. Also, this update is completely free to literally everyone.

If South Park can create an entire episode 48 hours before it airs, there's no excuse for this laziness on Bungie's part. All of the stuff made for the update is redskins and reuses (not that it's a bad update - it's amazing in fact) but scheduling is really hard to do ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE IS LIKELY A NON EXISTENT BUDGET ON THE UPDATE

He said he plays destiny 2 since its release so hes not new buddy, even if you play a game for a long time, there may be still things that you don't know
this is a default line from tower crucible shaxx. i don't know if it plays based on acct playtime, but I have memories of hearing that line when I was pretty new (early lightfall era, joined last couple weeks of Seraph) and scoffing at him calling me a vet. p sure it's just a random played line.
It's because every Destiny character is canonically a veteran of the Red War. Any tower voice lines can be considered to have happened after the Red War. This also applies to characters who were imported from Destiny so it's a cheeky line that works for new and old players alike.
@@datgio4951yeah im a veteran of destiny 1 but im playing a new account and i get that voice line often,and i doubt the game somehow knows about my old account
@@datgio4951 pure melee. I've got a +9 axe with 260 physical and 130 magical damage, a golden shield with 100% physical resistance and the toughest armor I could find. Also have inough MP to cast some ghosts but very weak
