You are such a patient teacher. Like you have the clear reality of the fact that the newbies don't really know jack, about it. Gid bless you. I watched lessons 1 to 4. And i see "patience overflowing. Composed presentation. Thanks.
Thanks. You're a great teacher. I love your illustrations ( ... carrying a bag over ...). I subscribed and will watch your videos to learn flamenco, etc.
Some parts of this this bulerias reminds me of the music in the Sega game Outrun, composed by Hiroshi Kawaguchi. with Latin and Caribbean vibes. thanks for sharing!
It's quite clear that when I'm playing with the metronome there are three notes per beat to start with and then changing to four notes per beat, thus you can think of it as triplets and then semiquavers. The beat can be thought of as a crotchet. Written notes are not universal and preferable in flamenco - traditionally flamenco is learned by watching and listening without written instructions; this internalizes the rhythm more naturally. Many subtle things about flamenco are lost when writing it down in notation - written notes are actually detrimental to learning flamenco initially. Thankyou for any positive comments - not!
