i don't mean any disrespect by this, i feel the better outcome here was to take a slight hit to your reputation on future card viability versus eating this non-zero amount of cardboard which includes a non-zero amount of glue. thanks for coming to my ted talk.
Kudos for sticking up to your word, I didn't expect wild takes to my tweet, but I was 100% sure the card would polarize the scene for a while xD IMHO, silver bullets for a card that might or not show up and you surely need effective scouting to put them in the deck makes it have a weird place in meta. The card makes some archetypes possible in decks to make silly end game combo stuff like: * Teklo playing Singularity * Enigma/MST heroes reaching the Miragai and/or Cosmic Awakening stack * Verdance doing her life gain combo AMP things * Florian pitch stacking to the Thistle Bloom combo * Oscilio living long enough to pitch stack Sigil and Blasted to Oblivion Amp nonsense * Even fair stuff like Rhinar's stacking intimidates and playing OG Club Control with enough life buffer to execute in with an Alpha Rampage in the endgame * Etc ... All of these strategies that are usually invalidated by the hard aggro heroes but possible now (except maybe against the slow sticky aura illusionists or Reaping Blade Runeblades if they don't have a solid plan against them).
Completely agree on CYB potentially getting banned for philosophy reasons. I've felt the same about Remembrance for a while - the card isn't too powerful, but any time it became meta relevant, it introduced this weird arms race where people start putting more and more remembrances in their deck to counter the other person's Remembrance. CYB has the potential to introduce a similar meta state imo. Great video!
Verdance can combo through it by arsenaling the arcane spell and activating the staff and responding the with rampant growths, it’s for aurora who can beat fatigue by stacking multiple arc lightning’s and flickerwisps in the same turn
@@jacobclements3652 Ah, that makes sense. Thank you for the response and the additional match-up information that is super helpful. Will try and take this to PQ week 1 and seeing your thoughts on sideboarding is very useful. Congrats on the amazing result.
Really helpful video. I'm still learning the game so I have to pause and read a lot to figure out how and why things are happening, but great to see gameplay of Prism since it's so hard to find for some reason.
Great video and recap, the decklist looks and sounds great! What is your sideboard plan into Nuu? We have too many blue attacks to take them all out, and in fact if we did that we'd be quite low on blues. Do we leave some of the blue phantasm attacks in, knowing if they were to send them off a transcend we can likely pop them with one of our many 6 powers?
@@onhiteffect I'm still running both, and Spectral Manifestations, but your deck got me to finally cut Waxing and Phantom Tidemaw for Amensia/Weakest Link. I have multiple Zen players at locals so if I have to be miserable, so do they 🙃
Nice innovative approach 👏. Any chance you can get around to putting in the sideboard plan into meta matchups into the fabrary matchups tab? Would be a big help❤
Not saying its correct, but if kano and azalea become more prevelant, I've found success with the blue spectra (haze and shimmers) and then iris in the side board. I'm liking this list because as a guardian fan, this mainly blue block 3 deck is my comfort.
I think this list is already much more favored against azalea compared to normal enigma lists, spectra just seem too slow for comfort vs her. And Kano has scour, which wrecks the Iris plan. We tried Iris a bit internally but found that Cosmo does basically the same thing but better in more or less every matchup
@@onhiteffect then you need to ask your self is it worth having it in for zen if it's only titanium bobble in the others. Looking at your last games it seems zen is not a 10% but maybe a 40%. Looking forward to see more of your cooking 🍣🍣🍙
ugh, fine, i'll cut the red waxing spectres! lol, ty for the video and the matchup gameplans especially, i played something similar to this last night and i was definitely doing some things wrong. excited to play rxpl with a version of this!
Thanks Rhea and Brian for a really streamlined version of the deck. Just curious when you are talking about the 17 disruption cards for Zen. What cards are ok to cut in the main 51 to fit in the additional 11 (if not more if you are adding d reacts to the match up) from the sideboard or is it ok to play above 60 in some cases? Thank you!
We're always presenting 60, it's too important to consistently draw Miragai so don't want to dilute the deck. For Zen, we're siding out Spears of Surreality (Reds and 2 blues), 1 copy of Miragai (the no-block is a liability and you only need to resolve 1 to win the game), Warmonger's Diplomacy, and the two worst Transcend instants. Really focusing on blocking well
you mentioned a Nuu vs Enigma showmatch and that you would put the link in the description, but I don’t see it there, could you please share the link? I could just use the search function, but I am too lazy, so I typed all this here instead.
