every year around Whitsun we organize an international Festival which is mainly for choirs. Every odd year we organize the International Chamber Choir Competition Marktoberdorf, every even year the Festival Musica Sara International with groups of all major world religions,

Ngl, this song might be one of the major reasons why they placed last in this competition. This is definitely way too fast for 112. You can hear may singers na nadedelay din. I can’t even understand the lyrics anymore, nagkakaroon na ng intonation issues, and hindi na rin minsan nabubuo yung chords. Definitely would be good for crowd work but not good sa part ng judges.

This is a complete misrepresentation of an ancestral song that belongs to a specific Nisga'a Maternal family. There are so many wrongs in this display, which you have been informed of in other comments, yet you continue to share this version as a complete act of disrespect for all Indigenous people. Your entitlement of "unknowingness" is beyond words that trigger feelings so deeply embedded, that it awakens the auric memories of the invasion of this continent. By stating the original perpetrator was Marius Barbeau, (who is also known for stealing a totem pole from another Nisga'a family while they were away working) doesn't make it right. If you want to make things right, contact the Nisga'a Nation and they will direct you to the proper people of what to do next: They area easily found in a simple google search.

This is very different from the Graduale Triplex version - very beautiful though. Where might I find the middle solo verse notation?

@@tomfenn7149 Same here. Oddly enough, I was born not too far from Bonato's hometown- we could talk to each other in dialect rather than Italian- but I've discovered his music only today in Southeast Asia, of all places. It may be a small world- but this music is big.

@@viviandarkbloom8847 My father owns a small flat in Triora in the Liguria district of northern Italy, and he was originally drawn there because of a series of early music concerts performed by a friend of his who is a member of the Tallis Scholars. They were before the pandemic holding early music concerts in Triora and this one from Banato would've been perfect for that festival. It may of course already have been performed, but I will share this video with him a will ask. My daughter is also a soprano (she's currently a member the City of Birmingham Orchestra Youth Chorus), but she was also completely wow'ed by this piece, but was surprised never to have heard of it before. She now wants to pass it on to her music tutor, and maybe Julian Wilkins the choirmaster at the CBSO would commission it to be performed? Here's hoping that it can be performed again soon, not only in Italy but also in England. We can only live in hope! :)

@@tomfenn7149 Hear, hear! Speaking of hope, it's so encouraging to know there are still young wenches who love proper music. Triora is a bewitching (quite literally so) village, congratulations to your dad on the brilliant choice of location. All the best to you and your household.
