For me this was the original version.. it felt weird when i heard the real one.. (i'm not an english speaker, at that time simlish an english was the same for me)
Veteran sims player. Stopped playing a lil after sims 4 was released and im shocked to hear that this iconic gem resurged again from sims 2 console version! Makes me smile cuz I know new players are literally creating memories. Def was my childhood summer hit. Lol. #HappySimming 💚💎 Edit: thinking about it now, I can actually see the resemblance in art style/graphics from Sims 2 console to S4. Hmm I wonder why I never connected that so early on? The music ties them together nicely.
And like that, I'm 13 again, playing Sim2 on my PS2, idiotically crushing on a girl in my foreign language class. Before I knew thing 1 about actually being in any kind of serious relationship.
It's crazy and kinda fun how a The Sims game introduced me to one of my fav bands of my life today. I was around 6yo on the time and now I'm 23 and still love Paramore.
My sim was dancing to carnival music and it was annoying me so I turned it to alternative and this is the first song that came on and I thought I was in the matrix. I would know her voice anywhere. I was mindblown. Surprisingly a lot of known artists are on sim radio if you skip through it long enough. Like that song by fun we are young
Funniest thing is I didn't even know Paramore and the first time I've heard Hayley's voice and this song was on The Sims 2 hahahahaha It sounds way more natural to me than the original hahahaahha
