Hi Soloman, thanks for the comment. Savusavu is in Fiji in the Pacific Ocean. I am not sure how you would get there from Ghana. I guess you may have to travel to Australia (my country) and then onto Fiji. It would be very expensive to fly from Ghana. I would love to travel to Ghana. I have been to the east coast of Africa and loved it. I hope you enjoyed the video. Cheers Geoff.
Hi, thanks for your comment, glad you enjoyed the video. We do not have another video for Vanua Levu yet, but we will be putting another video early next week for Viti Levu and it will look at Rakiraki, Natanola Beach. We will also be travelling to Taveuni and Vanua Levu in early November, so will make a video shortly afterwards.. We will be flying to Matei in Taveuni and stay for 3 nights, then catching a ferry to Vanua Levu, form there we catch a local bus to Savusavu. I believe the drive is spectacular. If you are looking for a good taxi driver or tour guide, go to the market at Savusavu and ask for Uncle Ben. I hope this helps.
Great day to exploring with your video. Looking you have a great time. Thanks you so much for your sharing please I'm very happy to whaching your video thanks
Hi guys. Great video! We are about to do the lap in our Fiat Ducato Avida similar to yours. We were just checking out your bike rack looks like a good set up and is it a hassle to cart your bikes around? Wondering what the brand of your bike rack is? Would love to see some content on your day to day life inside your Campervan, cooking, power set up etc. Are you planning to do more interstate trips? Keep up the good work! 😀 Di and Troy
Hi Di and Troy, Really happy you enjoyed the video, lucky you doing a lap! We did half a lap during covid lock down and it was amazing. The Fiat performed well, but the suspension is not good on rough roads. We are planning to do a full lap, most likely in about 12 - 18 months once we retire. In regards to the bike rack, I think it is Fiamma DJ200. I will confirm the model number tomorrow. The max rating is total of 35kg, our bikes total 37 kg once we remove the batteries (the are electric bikes). Non e-bikes are about 3 kg lighter each. I found once you have initially set up the bike rack for your bikes, its not much hassle. Both bikes on and off in about 5 minutes. We would love to take our bikes on the lap, but we need to buy a very good cover to prevent dust etc from dirt roads. Also consider buying a good lock. We have recently sold our Fiat and bought a Mercedes Sprinter 4x4, it has the similar bike rack. The electrical set up in our Fiat was upgraded to a 200 amp hour lithium battery, a 2000 watt inverter and two 300 watt solar panels and it worked really well. We need to work on our day to living and cooking in the van, but with both of us working time is limited. Many thanks for your comments, and really happy to receive comments. I will find the details of the rack tomorrow. Cheers Geoff
Hi Geoff. Thanks for all that info. Much appreciated! Just wondering if you sold the Fiat because of the poor suspension? We do find the ride is a bit rough on rough roads that’s for sure. Thinking we might try some air bags. We just hope it will be reliable! 😀 Look forward to a run down on the Sprinter. Safe travels! Di and Troy
@@dianne3891 Hi Dianne, we sold the van to buy a 4 WD. We changed the front suspension on the Fiat to ALKO which made a big improvement, you can arrange through Fiat dealerships. I added airbags to the back. This was better also. We loved the Ducato, but it was horrid on corrugated roads. I should have deflated the tyres to a lower air pressure. I would seek advice on what you can drop the air pressure. The Fiat was very reliable and great on fuel. Cheers Geoff
@@gandbnomadsinthehorizon7898 Thanks Geoff . That’s very interesting and we’ll definitely look into that for sure. The ride is definitely not as good as our Isuzu MUX. The ride is amazing in that. I think we’ll be staying off rough roads. We’ve done plenty of off road travels in our time and are happy to stay on sealed roads as much as possible 😂 we hope you enjoy your travels in your new sprinter and we might see you on the road along the way. Thanks Geoff! Di and Troy
By the way you should stop in at Wazzas platypus bush camp next time, you can see platypus and there are beautiful open huts and little camp ground with a communal fire place and camp kitchen and Waz is a card a true blue Aussie 👍🏻
Another great video. So many interesting places to visit along the Queensland coast. Thanks for all the information, will definitely call in Maryborough next time we travel down south.
Cheers Peter, I am clad you liked the video. Many thanks for the your comment. Maryborough was a surprise. To tell you the truth, I can not remember a place that I did not enjoy. It was a great trip.
Looks like a fun trip. I’ve always heard how beautiful agnus Waters and 1770 are. Can’t wait to do that trip too. Safe travels and thanks for sharing. 😃👍
Great vid. I had to have a laugh at the piano on a tree. You don’t see that often. Also love Airlie Beach and Shute Harbour. Some nice cheap sites there. Thanks for sharing 😃👍
It was really nice place, I think it would be better just after the wet season. We were then in November so the water fall was just a trickle. Thanks for watching and the comment.

Just stumbled on to your channel. Enjoyed this vid. I’m a newby to the Motorhome lifestyle so was good to tune into your adventure & see how it’s done. Fully watched & subscribed (#65) Thanks for sharing Dennis. 😃👍
Many thanks Dennis, glad you enjoyed and subscribed. I hope you enjoy your motorhome as much as we do. It's so easy, park your van and have a beer or a cuppa straight away.
@@gandbnomadsinthehorizon7898 Yeh. That’s exactly why we went for the Motorhome over another caravan this time. No more tricky reversing hooking and unhooking. Just turn the key and go as well as turn the key, handbrake on and done. So excited to get out there amongst it all again. 😃👍
Cheers AAAA, the pickles were fantastic. I have never seen a platypus in the wild either. One time in Tassie next to our camp site people were behind our van look at a platypus and we missed it! Many thanks for your support.
