Wow, great reaction at 7:25, that was a close one. Great to see some more GoPro footage of the FCR Velodrome Experience, hopefully we will be able to race there with everyone eventually.
I'd prefer it if slow teams just stayed at least a trike width from the edge of the track at all times, that way you'd always be able to go outside or inside them.
Hey do you like it? We had been using Garmin Virb, we worked around the map sync issues but it was getting more and more problematic, we're testing out 'telemetry overlay'
You shouldn’t be using Shell as a sponsor, they have left all their old platforms with contaminants onboard in the North Sea. They are a ticking time bomb of pollutants. This company is an environmental vandal and should be sued into the ground for what they have done.
Here in Australia they're pretty limited to closed circuits and velodromes, maybe they're not illegal on public roads but it's not safe (or enjoyable) in traffic. They're efficient though imagine city commute on safe, dedicated paths. Sometimes you see unfaired recumbent trikes. And they're similar to European velomobiles which seem to be used on roads? Maybe not busy traffic though?
Looks like a Forza Motorsports lobby where no one knows how to use brakes and just smashes into someone slower thinking they should move out of ur way.. So bad and drving the cams are...
The guy in the thing that got flipped sounds like a spoilt brat, is any coming to put me on my wheels, should be grateful there are marshals to allow you to enjoy your sport
Yeah sadly entitlement is common these days. Everyone expects u to serve them like they are the top investor of organization. Sorry even if u WHERE top investor u get treated like everyone else
Thanks! Yes we used Virb for a while but it was getting a lot less reliable, map issue on sync could be worked around but then we had data field issues too. So we splashed out and trialling "Telemetry Overlay" so far so good, not heaps of customisation but it seems to be actively supported and updated?
I had a 2 hour stint, I couldn't afford to spend any bickies in the first 30 minutes. It was initially quite demoralising, then rewarding as everyone else started to cook.
Not planetary gearing, it's all pretty much standard road bike hardware, with some modifications like our front chainring is 80T - but our drive wheel is 16 inch
Thank you for the great suggestion! We have our last race for the year this weekend so after that we might get onto an explanation! (Maybe a cheeky subscribe to be sure you see that!)
No need to apologise! Our rider (only just) managed to come to a stop without touching anyone. But said it was intense. Hoping any touch ups are minor for you guys.
