Hi Sue, enjoyed your video, you must have done it quite early in the morning as the birds were quite vocal (nice to listen to). Hope you are getting on well with your bandsaw. I have a Charnwood B350 which I am very happy with.
Looks a lot better than my CX2600 Record Power which just fills the room with dust when you turn it on... although it great at picking up chipping (but isn't called that its a dust extractor) allegedly - I am looking at investing in the DX4000 on being an extractor for all of my workshop
Impressive video, well-composed and captivating footages of each artist’s work accompanied with good choice of music! 🌟✨💫 We watched it more than once on our big TV screen for full impact. 😄🙏🏻 So proud to see so many people all around the world participating in this video! ~ Shuen-Li & Ron
Thank you very much for the solution to the problem. As I don’t have a hair so long, I cut off a piece of electric cable and removed a single wire and to fix it on the nut I used a drop of instant glue on one side of the nut and added a pinch of baking soda. properly screwed screw was just a little tug and done. Perfect and thanks again!
Much admiration. I am an older woman who loves making things too but I would have been stuck on figuring out the square for the bevel edge. Like your methodical approach . Largest miter saw I used was 10" but now that I'm 75 I downsized to a sliding 7-1/4. Enjoyable video and will watch more.
Well, this is all pretty slick and very impressive. You wouldn't catch me doing that nightmarish _diagonal_ compound brace in probably a million years. I would surely chicken out on that deal. I ain't gonna do anything that requires clamping on a miter saw. (I have two Dewalt sliders and basically never see those clamps, anyway.) Love the accent - half Irish and half British? I get kind of confused when it's clearly not one or the other (at least to me).
For a zero clearance insert, I like it much better than a laser. Totally on the money accurate. As for for miter cuts, I still like eye site over laser. JS
Haha - got to give you a thumbs up for the hair. Girl power and ingenuity to you ! From a male who was looking to 3D print that Depth Lock Lever. That Lever on the Hex Nut side has gone round. Slightly different model though. Thanks.
Compound miter cuts is cutting on both plains you can set the DeWalt up so it cuts just as well as the festool also the better the blade the better the cut !
Same thing has happened on my Macallister but I couldn't see an easy way in through the top. I'm thinking I'll just turn it upside down and use it to make a table router instead!
And I've been just told by Record Power support that this extractor not meant to be used with table saws, bandsaws and planers.... As it was not designed for it.... well where is a mistake?
@@niallchurch2679 who knows... they say it is not for this machines.... maybe it is a shopvac to clean dust from the floor, but any vac can do that... much cheaper for sure
