Thanks for the history lesson, I've never been a bass fisherman - grew up saltwater fishing over in Jupiter then moved to Michigan mostly fished crappie, gills, perch. Then moved to TN and fished Strippers, and crappie. Looking forward to learning to bass fish on Lake O and also catching some crappie, and a few I've never caught before coppernose gills, cichlid, oscars, peacock bass.....
That's funny these guys trolling around you, watching you catch them and then throw them back in....🤪 never would have guessed grass shrimp, looks nice being in the shade.
A lot of them sale them I know that for a fact They’ll catch 25 then come back and catch 25 more and sale them Law enforcement has their handful here on the coasts Taking care of the drunk drug illegal etc to worry about crappie hogs💁

Another great Video Capt! 👍 had to bring my NEW 2072 grizzly to BP as he steering locked up….come to find out the dog gone cable was bent at the factory and no one caught it causing the steering housing to be completely destroyed. Everything was under the warranty but just having to bring it to have it repaired is a huge FITA! Just got it back yesterday. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. hula popper was my favorite back in the day. We just bought a place in Lakeport, retiring in next year. Looking forward to fishing Lake O. Capt Robin really enjoy your videos. You got me hooked on that whopper popper. Question for you i see you catch alot of fish in the rim canal. I do alot off kayak fishing and some times going to the main lake is Tough so looking for easier ways to fish okeechobee and not have any issues and just enjoy a day of fishing.
