Did love it. But just a suggestion. Can you display the slide by it self with close up in full detail. To see the finish product. You need to show case your great work. Excellent combination. I’ve been looking for a good straight forward tutorial with great colors. Thank you! ~E
Cool video.. so you never mentioned the in-between oven times.. are you just doing flash cures of 15 min.? also. I'm new to cerakote, but been doing powder coating and with multiple layers powder can build up with stencils being a thicker material, so I will peel if I can before final curing to allow the edges to flow a bit so they aren't so sharp. would it make any sense to flash cure the last color then peel all stencils and then final cure?
While the pattern maybe a Woodland pattern, the colors are Urban camo. Woodland Camo would be GRAPHITE BLACK. H-146, PATRIOT BROWN. H-226 and HIGHLAND GREEN. H-200.
Nice work and great to see someone using an airbrush. When I enquired about this with cerakote they said it couldn’t be done. Do you have any tips for a beginner to make airbrushing cerakote easier? Tip size, air pressure etc. Keep up the great work 👍
Is priming a thing for even the first layer of coat (base coat) or is base count the primer and acted also like one of the 3 colors. Or is base coat another word for first color of the 3...surry just new and learning 🤔
Base coat is your first layer it’s gunna be your least seen color but will usually be the one that stands out the most. So let’s say you do red white and blue and want white to be least seen you go white first. Stencil spray red or blue next then stencil and repeat. So the base coat is not primer it is one of your colors u choose to see he just went with a black/grey multicam color
Hello friend, I speak from Brazil. I would like to know the dimension of the tip you used in the airbrush 0.3, 0.5, 0.7 mm? What pressure range did you use on the compressor? 15 - 20 psi
I know I’m late on this and not sure anybody asked yet. This also might be a stupid question. At what temp did you bake that ? I noticed you had the rear slide plate on which is usually plastic. How did you cure the slide without that part melting?
