USA could win, but there is a fact that HOI4 can't calculate, probably spies from the rest of the world would start getting to know US tech and may start copying it. Also modern countries aren't so able to go at war, probably just people would seek for freedom and would rebel and manifestate against war or something similar
Btw theree were more casualities in the Iraq war but us propaganda weren't showing it, there was a fight in the Iraqi airport where they electrocuted alot of US soldiers but isn't found on the internet, how strange

Iraq was much, much, much weaker than Ukraine and no one was helping Iraq and Iraq had much stronger opponent - NATO, mainly USA. Ukraine is much stronger than Iraq, has weaker opponent - Russia and is supported by entire west.
many say that they did not help Iraq, but the whole West is helping Ukraine. But before the full-scale war and even in the first few months after it, Ukraine held on independently. And she herself recaptured Kyiv.
You sign the peace treaty with putin, and then putin agreed to leave kiev. But later when the west help has arrived you guys hide the treaty. The treaty was signed by both putin and ukrainian delegation in moscow
@@adrian4596 ukraine has upgraded variants of t-72 which are far better then the ones Iraq had. The invasion shown here is in 2003. So its not in the 90s as you said that they are using them. Ukraine also had somewhat of an airforce that at the beginning of the war helped, Iraq didn't. Russia is fighting ukraine ,both have almost the same equipment . Iraq and the USA had vastly bigger technological gaps. Lastly, Russia fought ukraine alone while the USA had a large coalition by its side.

The Iraqi Military was infamously awful, Sure on paper it was ""large"" but Iraq was a military 30 years behind the U.S not to mention that the entire structure of Iraq's military was idiotic so much so that in Saddam's eyes 2 military commanders meeting up for planning a joint op to him is a sign of a coup and so Saddam I.E the non military man restructured the entire military in such a way that a coup against him would be harder however at the same time he made the armed forces a joke and this is not even saying anything of the poor training the average Iraqi military member would get. Ukraine has a modern military since 2016 with them being lend leased by 33 Countries and unlike Iraq has a military that is not painfully incompetent nor is Ukraine just a flat land of sand like Iraq Ukraine is a Country with forests and hills not to mention that since 2014 Ukraine has fortified the area around Donestk making an attack from the Donestk region a large pain. To laugh at the Russian Federation for them not taking Ukraine out in the same time space as the United States is absurd as Ukraine is hard difficulty compared to Iraq, Iraq was invaded by 30 Countries Ukraine is being lend leased and funded by 30 Countries this is the huge difference
I must say that everything changed after Istanbul negotiations when Russian were told that Ukraine will accept land losses. They were in the outskirts of Kiev and were asked to leave that positions. Do you really think if they were near Kiev now they would magically retreat? UK and US took their words back and lied to Russia. After the ceasefire it gave Ukraine time to strengthen their positions and entrench.
an absolutely ridiculous comparison, Iraq was practically a third world state completely alone fighting a war without any hope, Ukraine on the other hand is supported by 30 countries and despite this it has very little hope of being able to win and still exists only by will of the Russians who have not yet waged a real war of annihilation
