Lee Konitz was the last giant who was there at the beginning shaping the future. Aside from Bird I struggle to dig other alto players. I met Lee several times. Humble, humorous. Last saw he with Kenny Wheeler and Frank Wunsch.

Lee loved to sing. Legend. He’s flirting with Prez’ famous solo on this song which Lee recorded with Warne Marsh as *Blues By Lester* , Jazz Exchange Tour of Europe, 1975-76.👌
