Im doing a salmonfly roadtrip with multi day floats/camping from may- end of june heading east from oregon snd ending in Colorado. Im seriously considering adding the Teton to my list of DIY Float trips. How sketchy would you say this section of river is for a solo float in a packraft? Thanks awesome video!
Awesome video the crew did a great job under difficult circumstances. Always like the way you go over the fly selection and why you use those particular flys . Heading to the Keys this May but would really like to give the Everglades a shot looks like a fun time . Thanks for sharing
Fun time out on the East Walker. I caught my biggest 24 inch rainbow on a fly rod the other week: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yr4-kGlHj8c.html
Hi guys I'm having problems getting the fishing regulations for local Waters in a booklet anywhere you know where I could get one because I can't do it online
You are 100 percent killing fish. Taking the fish out of the water for that long is bad enough-try holding your breath the whole time the fish is out of the water bc that is what they are doing. Even worse you aren’t even wetting your hands, which strips the fish’s protective slime layer off. I’ve literally seen fish with hand print-shaped infections on them from people not wetting their hands. Appalling.
alaska. the big copper river where the worlds mosr over priced salmon come from. and then theres a small river in illiamna called that i guess they fish for big rainbows.@@jonahex8463
great feature Mike! just subbed! I'm new to streamer fishing, no trophies yet, but fun all the same! this channel should be huge! I guess we're all struggling a bit since covid lockdown, I do fishing utube too, in UK. look forward to seeing more, good luck.👍
That sc 15 is the worst possible tarpon hook ..thin wire tin plated cadmium ...no better hook than a gama Sl 12 1x short..sticky, impossible to straighten..ive literally had permit straighten that sc 15 and due to the tarpons morphology..id tie the bunny strip upside down so he can actually see it...
I love that stretch! I'm a born and raised east Idaho dude. Hopefully your guide had more of a personality than what the video showed...a fun guide is a good one!
Nice , should have named it the boat stopper. It’s a fly that if it gets hung up while your floating down a river your just not going to break off . You will stop and try to save it . I also like using wool on the heads . Thanks for sharing
Always been a fan of yours. From football to fly fishing you are a quality dude! Keep taking us on adventures. I will likely never fish in Montana but it is fun to watch you do it!
Thanks brother! Between the shoulder and football season it got a little hectic over here but full steam ahead now. We need to go fish once the rivers clear up.😁🦈
