you know the actress did an amazing job when you start developing a crush on the character she's playing on the show. honestly, the vulnerability she shows in the later seasons and the way she displays care and shows her uneasiness every time nick leaves her and their baby behind and how she feels safe when hes around, that in itself shows the brilliance of the person playing the character.

After Alex told her that she was in love with Michael and she promises swears it was a one-off and then goes around behind his back and dates the guy he's in love with oh yeah Stellar friend right there. Didn't last because even if she realized he was always going to choose Alex over her and then dumped him he would have eventually just chose Alex over her so she just saved herself the Heartbreak. Not before Alex actually got his heart broken I don't like the Maria and Michael saying in the new show so no it isn't how you do a second relationship it sucks.

@@christyshultz6443 i never said "this is how you do a sweet non toxic main couple supporting second love interest. most second love interests are only present to cause tension between the main pair. but that was not the case with maria and michael!! they were a legit solid couple which was considered as a solid couple. michael did love maria. that is the part. for example take liz and kyle, that was solely for some on screen seggs and to create more max-liz tension. but michael and maria had absolute potential. don't get me wrong. i totally ship malex!! all the way. honestly the best ship in roswell new mexico. but in old roswell, maria and michael were the best couple!
