I’m all for rom hacks, and graphical upgrades, but this just seems to be so insanely difficult just for the sake of being difficult that I don’t think I would enjoy playing it. Not only that, it doesn’t feel like something Nintendo would put out. Just my .02, I’m enjoying the videos nonetheless.
I absolutely can't believe this April Fool's Video actually predicted the Future of the "Jojo Bizarre Adventure" Anime series in just 2 years before the so-called "Jojo Reference" became a real thing.
Twf when I'm a casual Super Metroid player using these videos as a playthrough quide and find myself learning speedrun stats and practicing an hour to get that Screw Attack only find out it's an optional sequence break. Also, that E-tank at 1:11:45 is something I also accidentally got early by bomb jumps and a lot of trying, to the point I almost bashed my head in against the wall, only to contemplate throwing myself out of the window when I later on got the spring ball and realized that's how it's supposed to be done. This is my first Super Metroid hack after 30 years of playing vanilla, and I feel like I should've started with something easier.
The Phantoon and MB hybrid works super well, considering the lore between the two, Phantoon being born from the old MB or feeding off MB's brainwaves, it's kinda lore accurate.
Alvin should have invested more time into finishing episode 9 instead of wasting his time on this April fools animation joke before he cancelled the series
The strongest superhero in the entire universe and Cosmos is double dragon! Really double dragon is the cosmic superhero and no one can beat him From Kolkata West Bengal India #kolkata
I've just finished this hack and used your playthrough to find some items, thank you very much. It is indeed a monster of an ending, I really like STUNT_MK's review of it emphasizing the darkness and the mature themes. Hits like a truck.
The only problem with this remake is that it's way too easy and unchallenging. The smaller and simplified overworld is also a step down from the original Zelda.
Thanks for the move set in Super Metroid, I would not be able to perform any of these on my own. Thanks to your videos I was able to perform a few certain difficult ones and it definitely helped for sure.
Haven’t played this game but if it was remastered with todays graphics it’d be pretty tight 👍. Great music. I remember the old 8bit one on the nes, back in the day
I was able to get up to about this point in the game before I decided I couldn't keep going. The first half of the game was a lot of fun if tedious in some parts, but once the speed booster antics ramped up along with the missable first Power Bomb (which I ended up saving after missing, effectively putting myself in a tight spot), I felt too overwhelmed. I feel that says a lot about me as a gamer, I like a little challenge but I can't pull off the most advanced tricks at every turn, not for long anyway. I'm somewhere in between a casual gamer and a challenge seeker. If I have anything to take away from this game, it's that I learned more about what kind of a gamer I am.
ok i started playing again on vanilla super zero mission (not super speed zero mission). it's so fun the shine puzzles are so fun. i made it to the pirate ship. for the first lazer trap room. you can just unequip high-jump, then walljump rising morph, bomb, unmorph, respin walljump rising morph, to land on the little ball tunnel, instead of machballing, to get to the green level 2 switch. it's way easier than machballing even though it's kindof a lot of words. for the second lazer room, you can unmorph before the grapple point to grab it more easily. also, in the bottom left corner of that same room where you have to awkwardly land on the platform that's below and to the right of the ceiling corner. you can hug that wall as you fall in morph ball, then unmorph while holding right, right at the corner of the ceiling, to drop onto the platform below. it's still a little precise but seems a lot easier to set up when you get the muscle memory for it
oh. but on the way out of the first lazer trap room, after you freeze the atom, it's actually easier to jump back out if you re-equip high-jump, it makes the rising morph back out nicer
LOL I made it to the powerbomb room at 9:38 and IT WASN'T THERE the bomb was just not there im going crazy what is happening lmao i've just been running around sequence breaking everything to no avail because I can't find any power bombs maybe it's a super speed zero mission thing and it doesn't break in vanilla super zero mission kraid zone is so pretty in this hack though I love the colors there
@1:40:32 "Can you imagine a person with OCD trying to do this on a real console?" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DeQ3rLHp2jU.html I've done this on hardware, so I put together a training video to teach people how do to it too!
I have the game on GBA,but will buy it again online. It will be nice to play it on a bigger screen and play two players without a cable. Also there is supposed to be an enhanced version for the ost which I want to check out.
I always get the feeling this song has some "sad undertones" to it even though the game has a happy ending. It's like the devs were saying goodbye due to beat-em-ups "fading away" back in 2003/2004. Glad to see that genre make a comeback.
