Thank you David, this is great and I'm using since a while, but I can to a requirement in a report that have a lot of measures, some of these measures can appear only in 1 year let say 2022 as it was at this time a KPI, but now in 2024, it's not a KPI anymore, is it possible to add all measures dynamically when they have value in the selected period? This is fantastic. So simple. So creative. I think layers could help with that bar-timer idea. You could have multiple bar timers side by side but they would have to be masked by an object or be set to disappear after going behind the previous timer.

When I input this code in your Google Sheet, it won't accept it. However when I try to use WST in the STOCKHISTORY function in Excel, it will. But I'd like to use your template as it does precisely the calculations I need and I'm not sure Excel will. Is there a way to use WST in your file?
I am trying to come up with a formula in google sheets to do something specific. Would you be interested in helping me? Basically I created a drag racing bracket. 2 competitors are set up in 2 columns where the stats of the race are displayed. (Reaction Time, Holeshot, Speed, ET) Currently the Winner is indicated by the last rows in each column and the conditional formatting I have set-up turns the cell green if the cell has a lower ET number than the other competitor's column. I want to have the formula see which column is the winner and then take 1 cell of that column (the persons name) and populate another cell on the bracket (to show the winner advanced). Sorry to hear. If you have a file url (for something stored on Google drive), copy the file path from the address bar & then paste it into a cell or use smart chips. I'm having difficulty using text join to merge multiple events on the same date. I've replaced my formula of =XLOOKUP(O$15&" "&TEXT($M16,"DD MMM YY"),$K$16:$K$250,$J$16:$J$250,"") (which was working perfectly) to =TEXTJOIN("; ",TRUE, IF(N$15&" "&TEXT($M16,"DD MMM YY")=$K$16:$K$250,$J$16:$J$250,"")) and my entire calendar goes blank. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot? I'm using Google Sheets if that matters. Thanks!

Hard to believe excel users don't use Tables. I think the main issue is that the robust version of Tables did not until Excel 2007 (minimal version in Excel 2003). So Tables are treated as an afterthought. Tables should be taught fro day one.
Absolutely agree! Tables are so essential but they have a stupid name so most excel users would never think to look up « how do I make a table in excel »

I share visualizations with customers, but I don't want them to be able to see the semantic model when they choose to export to excel. I'd like them to be able to export to excel only the data present in the visualization. Is this possible?
These are not "hacks." These are just regular, normal, ordinary functions of Microsoft Word. You are not "hacking" a program when you click on one of the menu items in the ribbon above that's just sitting there asking you to use it when needed.

Thanks for the video! Question, are you have any issues with the signature functionality in the new Outlook? I work for a large org and employees need to be able to copy and paste our branded sig into their Outlook settings. The format isn't holding, and the logo isn't showing up. Copy and paste worked fine in the old version. Any easy workarounds? Thanks for your input!

You have two options: 1. Unless you repeat the same event in multiple rows in the event list or 2: With power Query, generate a list of dates in between start and end dates and load that first.
Great video, thank you! I had a doubt that maybe you could solve, I want to not only filter by date, but by type of event. For example, only see “improv” events (based on your video example). How could I do that?

Great content! What about separate filtered views? Example: Original source Table on Sheet 1. Sheet 2 requires a synced filtered view, and when this filtered view on sheet 2 is edited, it updates the data in the original table on sheet 1 (and visa versa). Is this possible and if not, do you know if it’s coming?

Hi thanks for the feedback, sorry but I cannot cover everything there is in the app in a short video. Conversation view (if this is what you are referring to) is available on both versions & you can switch it on/off in outlook options
