My name is Jon Phenom. I began studying streetwear in the late 90's. I stared a t-shirt line at 18 and began learning through experience. In 2000 I began working professionally as an apparel designer. At 22, I was sewing together hand-made bespoke denim at $300 a pair. At 26, I made Senior men's Designer. I owned a high volume screen-printing shop. Last few companies I was a Director.

Hey Jon! This is a great video, I wanted to let you know that the video linked mentioned at 1:40 minutes in is set as private! Aside from that, I look forward to watching the video about customizing culture :)
John do you have any videos on licensing .. like when people make streetwear clothing with … marvel or Disney characters Pokémon etc or famous people faces … is it a Russian roulette or flat out illegal ? …. Would be a good topic
Ey yo Jon, I started printing shirts from my garage, I made a dozen or so and I'm thinking about taking them to local boutiques in my city. Should I print neck labels on the shirts of my brand, or should I print neck labels with the boutique store brand to try and show off? Id like to grow my brand, but I think the boutique stores would dig it more if I had their brand printed on the shirt? Does it even matter since I've only made a dozen shirts?
