William Hartnel and Patrick Troughton were great. Jon Pertwee had an extra something that made him a favourite. Sad to see him leave the show. Baker and Davidson were also good but lost interest in those after. John Pertwee was such a great animated actor and great voices. Those who met him say he was a kind and dedicated gentleman. He even played, to some extent, his Doctor that way.
All of that, a parody of a reality TV show that turns into a mashup with an acclaimed period drama interrupted by the required Doctor Who appearance... All of that was all build up for a jab at _Jedward._ 10/10. Way better than the 60th anniversary specials of Doctor Who.
I feel like the only American that understands this. I can't talk to anyone but my mom about it. Or should I say mum? Lol Happy Independence Day! You know, when we got freedom. We lost the cool accent but we traded it for guns. More people are saved by guns then killed. Take away California, NYC, Chicago and two other cities, we have really low gun crime.
I'd assume so.but they have changed the tier system..now they have 4 different packages. I might get another one in the summer to see how it's changed.
This sketch is derogatory and should be banned because making a spectacle of the colleagues of Jennifer worth is disgusting, offensive on a gargantuan scale and hugely disrespectful too the memory of JENNIFER WORTH and too all of them.
I'm pretty sure Ms. Worth, were she alive, would laugh at this, as would her colleagues. Even if you don't really get the reference this is still a good farce, and y'know these were real people who worked for a living, and did so in terrible conditions, they had senses of humour. Seriously, it's not like they were being particularly incompetent, barring meta gags, they were basically following procedure with the towls and enemas. The main joke came from them being out of their own time, which is inoffensive, if a bit cliche. Heck, my mother was a nurse in the '80s, and she readily admits she wouldn't be able to use a lot of the more modern equipment, so the out of touch gags are even inaccurate in this bizarre context. The only off thing is the reaction to an unmarried mother; literally the first episode involves an unmarried prostitute giving birth. But it's low hanging comedic fruit and it's understandable. And okay this is ahistorical, but so it much of the show. The actual memoires are somewhat more grim, the show lightened the mood considerable, and basically every episode after the first few seasons is ahistorical anyway, plots are reworked with new characters, ir invented entirely. I mean if you want somethibg potentially offensive to a persons memory, Sister Monica Joan going AWOL, and defrauding a rail company to look for God incarmate as a white stag on a Scottish island in the last xmas special is way worse than this.
You were either born after 2000 or you've been living under a rock. Jedward are real music artists. They kinda fell off the face of the earth in about 2011 though
You're better off not knowing about them. They were a duo who first appeared auditioning on The X Factor, they are two twin guys and quite possibly the most annoying, obnoxious and unpleasant contestants on the show. They ended up getting far despite how annoying they were, and even got a music career.
