About the _Star Trek_esque transport you mentioned, I am not good w/that, which is interesting, given that I've had to make my peace w/the slower molecular- & atomic-level replacement over time, which, I suppose was possible as an extension from comfort w/my physiological understanding of growth. I'm not sure exactly why the sudden replacement of all atoms is different, but I think it's entirely different. Now I'm thinking about sudden replacement of fractions of one's brain. I'm _much_ more comfortable w/millions of unconnected atoms being replaced than chunks of brain.
I checked out this video from finding out about you from your Wikipedia page after searching for someone else w/"Ellsworth" in their name. That's got an impressive story of your self-made coding expertise. I enjoyed watching you take people through a programming mod to enhance the 3-D version of Centipede you had going there. I enjoyed the quiz about the notcher. My dad built home intranets when I was a kid in the '80s as practice for the real deal at Bell Labs. I felt like I knew what that was b/c seeing it def brought me back to then. However, I can't recall ever using one. I mostly remember taping notches so I could overwrite floppy disks. I did programming when I was a kid, but went on to not do that at all for decades. I appreciated the chance to learn how to use the word "instantiation." My intro to that word was the reverse of what it should've been b/c I read it first from the title of an episode of _The 100_, "Perverse Instantiation." I'm pretty sure the word "perverse" in that instance is applicable only from the POV of the AI that's already put Earth thru an apocalypse, has reached the verge of assimilating the remainder of the humans in what had been the northeastern USA, and is reacting against their efforts to stop it, which include instantiation. Thanks for all that and for the phrase "sprite extrusion." That's a winner right there.
Hello; I’m trying to track down the person responsible for making or who has information about the Cartridge Genius device, and I hope this attempt works. I linked here from a Cartridge Genius RU-vid post 🧐 I posted: @CatGenius120 I recognize that this is an alias account that is older and may not be checked very often, but I have a question about your CatGenius. We had to replace a broken down CG AI and instead of the nearly thousand dollars a new purchase would cost, we took a chance on a couple of older 120 models a nice lady was selling. Turns out one of them has a Cat Genius connected! I set everything up, but the Poll light is not flashing like your user manual says it should be. Is that a problem when using a refilled cartridge, or is it only an issue if trying to run it as a virtual cartridge? It’s running currently, I’m going to remove the refilled cartridge it came with to see if that makes a difference with the poll light making any flashes.
Good circuit. The pain always is the power dissipation in the current limiting fet. How about a bistable or maybe monostable one which does not have that problem ? Using only a few components ?

I just spend 10 minutes trying to find out whats going on with CASTar , if there is new games, if i can buy the hardware... no answers, internet search is brutally dead, and Jeri's own website doesnt even mention the word castAR, Is this still a thing???
@jeriellsworth Hi Jeri, I tried to implement your circuit on a PDM raw signal, but have had no luck. Do you have a good way of implementing a Delta-Sigma Modulator for PDM signals? I am very green in audio sampling.. Thanks
I'm here trying to find a link to the tinfoil dunce cap idea that I can send someone, the mention at the end of this video is all I've been able to find now. I'm pretty sure I originally heard about it in a Jeri video, maybe one of the fat-man-and-circuit-girl stream dumps? Anyhow, it was a useful fable at our hackerspace, but the source seems to have succumbed to bitrot
Is the body diode across the N-CH Fet in the right direction? Somehow it looks like the cathode is pointing at the Source. So maybe you need to clear that up too. On the other hand I just noticed that this video is 5 years old. SO i am sure you have become quite proficient in whatever field of work you are specializing in. I dont expect that you will even see this post of mine. Also you dont need the second FET. Just install the pnp and the Rsense after the P_CH FET and close the Vgs on it with the PNP. And if you use an NPN it may even work as foldback current limit. One way or another the FET will heat up if it is a half short.
This is just a series of hand drawn pictures, I was expecting to see the actual physical steps, the equipment and so on but it was just talk. The image towards then end too is not helpful, I see a rectangle of (presumably) silicon that she's worked on but where did she obtain that? where did she get the chemicals, the ovens etc.

I'm one of the old-school guys who has held core memory. And I don't hear the term hysteresis very often, people scratch their heads when I use it. :-)
Jeri, you are a nature force indeed. You don't have to make elaborate videos as they are very elaborate, but I greatly appreciate them for their historical value. There is a lot of power in simple things with simple principles, that most people don't realize.
