I have been to Cartagena. Had a great time, but I believe it's good for a long weekend not to live. Another problem with Medellin from what I understand is the air quality being unhealthy.
I have been to both cities many times. I agree with you how Medellin has low air quality. I also agree with you that Cartegena my be a nice place to visit but not to live. Although, If I have the right woman with you, right price on apartment, find a good gym, get good prices on food, I will pretty much live anywhere.

I am in cabarete now and houses are almost the same price as Florida. Yes they are better and newer but there are no roads here no infrastructure And no laws. I want to invest but it’s looking sketch
It is a big investment and you have to do what is best for you. The insurance, HOA, and property taxes in South Florida are astronomical in comparison to the Dominican Republic. The Dominican Republic has laws and is a very stable country.

Might be a good idea to experiment with scopolamine before visiting, develop a tolerance. So you could immediately recognize the effects after a few sips. Accidentally spill your drink, hit up the restroom and leave.
Yeah see I've got lots of content where I talk about this sort of thing. It's not well known but that type of action (whether intentional or not) is clamped down upon in western countries, especially the US. That is, if you provoke some disruption or controversy in government policy through some innocuous action. US Government is notoriously unforgiving about that sort of thing. Actually that's not the right term because there's nothing to forgive. They will hand out harsh sentences if you inadvertently throw a monkey wrench into their plans or operations! Usually charge you with some type of "conspiracy" type law. I have a long unedited mp3 where I talk about the history of that type of thing, from hippies to yippies to modern hackivism and culture jamming. The result is government pushback and paranoia. They become more and more restrictive and over reactive to the slightest thing! That's really the roots of totalitarianism. Where the government becomes so defensive about being manipulated they become control freaks about the slightest behavior or tiniest thing that can be abused. Hence the name -- they need TOTAL control over your behavior to maintain control. The extreme end of it is like someplace like North Korea. Free speech is cracked down on so hard that you're nailed for not agreeing hard enough because they accuse lack of enthusiasm as an attempt at using sarcasm and subversive speech.
What you want to do is to take activated charcoal with you. You can get it where you get supplements in little capsules. Just take a couple capsules if you think are at risk of being drugged. It will even work somewhat if you take it late after you start feeling funny and take some fast. There are only a few poisons in this world that it won't protect you against (toxic metals etc)

Great question: when it is Puerta a Puerta, it will come to your location to pick you up to you destination... most of the time. With that said, it is different every time depending where you are, where you are going, and how busy they are, and the traffic. Please know this, in Colombia, EVERYTHING changes on a time.

I am glad you asked. In my opinion, almost all of these situations arrived during night time activity that had booze and women and music involved. However, it can happen anywhere.

Its unreal brother how such pretty girls will take advantage of men ( gringos as well as locals ) only that gringos are more naive . However i saw a guy use a spray bottle and hit a girl in face at an atm . And within 1 mjnute she was willingly handing him her money with zero look of fear or protest. He left and she just looked confused . Another guy that didnt go out was actuallt helping the crooks carry his laptops out to thier car , you have 0 clue and control of what you do if not asleep or overdose and dead . Very small amount . Nobody is pushing perico on you espesciallky in colombia if they dont have bad intentions . Booze = death when mixed with burandanfa just liike many of the oxycidone abd fentanyl deaths are when the user is taxing the liver already with booze and body shuts down = death . But a shame such pretty girls partake in this . Problem is that such a high percentage of young women are 8s or better in colombia and hard up gringos amd others cant seem to resist leg and booze and your trapped like a mouse trying to eat peanut butter off a victor trap . Is that a new hair transplant, looks like they went a little light on the front. You should have them fill it in a little thicker by doubling up on the hairs per follicle so it fills in a little more.
I got a 800 micrographs in 2001. I am not really interested in hair these days. I have my hair on number zero on my buzzer these days. If more falls out, which it may, I really do not mind. My main concern is fitness level, VO2 output, mobility, for boxing and Muay Thai.
Honestly as a Dominican I can’t afford anymore buying there those apartments prices and house prices are ridiculous if you plan to buy in the city. Maybe is cheaper in other areas but isn’t worth it to be honest ..
It has been the elephant in the room, that know one is talking about after that situation happened. Also, during that time, all businesses offer free delivery, so now people walk a lot less and businesses still offer free delivery.
