a Brilliant idea, I LOVE this concept and think this is the best Air, Land car i have seen! I also think they should sell it to Elon so he can take it to the next level by making it larger; adding autonomous driving and flying to it; and VTOL making it a taxi service.
I bought 2 Tesla’s. After 4 horrible years, I gave up and sold them at massive losses. But I am so happy to be back in reliable, higher quality and good service ICE cars. EV’s are a failure again.

The answer is a clear No. GM has backed a Lemon in Waymo, they're using the wrong technical approach which will never be scaleable or economic and maintainable even if it's made to work in a limited geofenced environment. Tesla has the right approach, ie creating a car that uses the same way that humans use to drive, ie intelligent interpretation of the scene presented to the car, using learned responses that can be used to give rational driving behaviour. Training a Self Driving AI using billions of miles of driving experience, using the best responses to the conditions will eventually result in performance that massively exceeds what a human can do with his or her limited driving experience, sensors and attention. It's only a matter of time before Tesla has produced a vehicle that drives better than any of us can. The crazy thing is that this won't even be that expensive to produce. Cameras are cheap, and once trained, the processing power required to implement the solution will rapidly be integrated into ever smaller footprints and low cost chips.
Tesla is doing it right. The latest “recall”, is simply increasing the font size on driver messages and making sure eyes stay on road. Was done with OTA update.
Tesla is NOT doing it right. Redundancies need to be inbuilt - AI visualisation, GPS using improved mapping, and LIDAR systems, will make autonomous driving both safe AND preferable

Full self driving didn't get delivered though.. it's not that it isn't incredible or not that Tesla and Elon are leading the charge.. it's that it isn't ready.. or the world isn't ready for it.. I just hope Tesla is producing 5 million cars a year by 2030 and self driving is so advanced thqt taxi and deliveries become far cheaper
Also I hope they are starting to produce millions of Tesla Bots that do all sorts of mundane, dangerous, gross and time consuming jobs. Hopefully by 2030 we'll have a small base on the moon
