You can't say for sure what this song is about. You're just assuming this is about someone that billie dated or a past relationship. With that said.. you should listen to songs like "birds of a feather", or "lunch" or "everything i wanted", "you should see me in a crown", "my future", "my strange addiction" or "bellyache" those are more "upbeat."
